I was not surprised by the looks I got from the girls when I arrived at Hogwarts. In addition to being a Malfoy, I knew I was handsome. I knew that girls will do whatever I asked them to do just to see my smile and that they'll follow me around like puppies. What did surprise me was that the boys followed me too. Not because I was a Malfoy, but for the same reason the girls did – my looks.
I've heard about Sirius Black, the black sheep in the Black family, someone I should ignore. I saw him one day in a dark corridor and understood why not all the girls followed me. Black was quite handsome himself.
He came up to me and said "Malfoy". His voice not quite clear. "Black" I replied coldly. He took a step towards me and, and kissed me!
I pushed him away, surprised and angered by what had just transpired. "What the hell are you doing?!" I asked him.
He just smiled and said "We'll talk in another three months." I just stand there dumbfounded.
Exactly three months after the kiss, I saw Black again at the same corridor. "So. Did you think about it?" he asked in attempt to provoke me.
"Think about what?" I asked, feigning ignorance. But I was too obvious; I wasn't able to fool him, or myself.
During those three months the kiss we shared haunted me. I dreamt every night about the kiss, but in the dream I didn't push Sirius away, we continued kissing. During the day whenever I saw Black smile, I was sure he was smiling at me. I wanted to go and talk to him, but I knew I couldn't.
Black just laughed and leaned in to kiss me. I almost kissed him back, but some common sense hit me and I pushed him away. He looked at me, disappointed and turned to leave. I wanted to chase him, finish the kiss, but knew I can't. There are some things even Malfoy's can't do.
