Chapter 1

"Honestly babe you look fine!" You hear Luke whine as you fix your hair in the shop window in the mall for the last time.

"Just fine?" you raise one eyebrow and turn around to look at him.

"You look perfect." He tucks your hair behind your ear and leans in to give you a gentle kiss. "You always do." You turn your head a little bit, trying to hide your flustered face.

"Why are you getting so dressed up anyway?" Luke asked.

"Because it's the first time I'm meeting the rest of the boys and I want them to like me…" you answered quietly, looking down.

He chuckled. "They'll love you. Promise. You have nothing to worry about, Em. And trust me, if they're anything like me they'll fall right in love with you by your smile." He smiled and laced his fingers through yours, as you both started walking.

A while after walking hand in hand through the shops you both turn around after hearing some girls yelling "Luke, Luke!" Those girls obviously being fans, you decide to take a step back and let them have their moment with him. You watch the three girls nearly in tears as they hug Luke and take pictures with him and you can't help but smile thinking about how happy he makes these people.

Five minutes pass and the girls say their goodbyes. You smile at them all as they make their way past you. As you smile at them, they realize that you were holding hands with Luke just before they greeted him. Each of the girls gave you a brief look while passing by you. The first one seemed to examine you up and down. The second girl did the same but with almost a disgusted look on her face. Finally the last girl nearly ignored you until she was up ahead with her friends and you heard her snicker with them. They obviously weren't happy that Luke had finally gotten a girlfriend. This was when your smile faded into a frown.

"Emily?" Luke asked worriedly "What happened?"

"Did you see the way those girls looked at me?" you huffed.

His eyes trailed over to the girls in short shorts as they got farther away. "They're just jealous that I'm dating you and not them," he said "They don't even know you. Why do you care what they think anyway?"

You smiled because you knew he was right, even though you never liked to admit it. He took the smile on your face as a sign that you were okay. You went on walking out of the mall his arm wrapped securely around your waist.

Chapter 2

The car drive was mostly silence. Both of you were obviously nervous; you just didn't want to show it.

When you arrived at the Brooks house, you could see Daniel, James, Jai and Beau inside through the window.

Luke parked the car on the driveway and we both stepped out.

"C'mon, they'll adore you." Luke said, smiling as he held out his hand for me.

We walked inside.

"Hey guys, this is Emily." Luke said.

"Ohhhh, so you're the famous Emily!" Jai said.

Luke blushed and you smiled.

"She's gorgeous, bro." James stated to Luke.

"I know," he smiled at me.

Now it was my turn to blush.

"I've heard so much about you guys, it's nice to finally meet you." I said and walked over to them, sitting in an empty chair.

You all spent that night basically just getting to know each other better and watching movies.

It was about 2am when all the boys fell asleep, and it was only you and Luke awake.

"You know we are going to get heaps of hate on our relationship, right?" You whispered.

He shrugged.

"Well yeah, there are gonna be some haters along the way but I've dealt with them before. I just need to know that you'll be okay with it too."

You nod. "I'll always be okay as long as I'm with you."
