Challenge word: Rough and blue
Warnings: Spoiler for Season 5, False Idols – Sam and Dean are a bit tied up. Didn't finish this one last week so thought I'd combine the two!
It took a moment to orient himself. Register the ropes, tight round his wrists, the rough texture of – what was that? – tree bark? – under his questing finger-tips. A strangely incongruous flowery scent lingered on the air as he lifted his aching head.
He recognised that perfume. Jess had laughed about the expense when her best friend had bought a bottle – a memory surprisingly still raw after all this time.
A flash of kingfisher-blue, and more immediate memories, closely followed by hot embarrassment, quickly burned away the momentary sadness.
Because the Winchester boys had just been taken down by Paris Hilton.
Not one of my fave episodes but somehow that bright blue founcy dress was haunting me! Very frightening indeed...
