When You Love Someone
Shelby slowly opened her eyes as she took in a deep breath. This was the day every girl dreamed of, she was about to get married. So many times she thought it would never happen considering her past, but it was happening and she was going to saver every minute of it.
She looked down the isle. It seemed miles long, but she would run down it if she had to. She smiled as she saw her friends, her bride's maids. Daisy, Jess, Sophie, Juliete, and Kat all stood there staring at her, smiles on their faces.
She then looked over at the groom's men. Ezra, Peter, Auggie, and David all stood there, staring at her as well. She laughed to herself at the look on David's face. He looked very impatient, then again 'that's David for ya,' she told herself.
Her eyes then focused on her soon to be husband. Scott stood there, a broad grin on his face and his eyes sparkling. She smiled to herself. This was going to be the wedding she had always dreamed of. She had friends, which were her family, and she had Scott; whom she loved more than anyone or anything in the world.
A smile crossed her face as she took the first step of what would be a long and memorable walk down the isle…
