FEMALE Pirates of the Caribbean

For those of you who have not seen Pirates of the Caribbean, I suggest you do before reading this, or it might not make sense.

Prologue
The girl was standing on the dock, watching as her father sailed away on his friend's ship. Mrs. Turner tried to pull the 8-year-old girl away, but the child just said "Where's Daddy going?"
Ms. Turner smiled. "He's visiting a friend, Katherine."
"Oh," she said dully. "Do I have to go see Michael Norrington's younger brother, Mamma?" She was dreading meeting her old best friend, and newly betrothed.
"Yes, dear," Mrs. Turner said sternly. Kate knew better than to argue.
"Fine," she said grudgingly. "But I'd rather be an adventuresome pirate."
"Katherine!" Mrs. Turner said to her daughter, appalled. "A pirate's life is not for you. You are Katherine Turner, daughter of William and Elizabeth Turner, and you are a sweet, kind and gentle girl."
You'll never guess what Kate did to her previous best friend.
She broke John Norrington's nose, as she had broken his older brother's nose 3 years before.
