This is my first story about Snape so be kind ;)

"Hey Snape, would you mind keeping the defense against the dark arts class today? You know it's a full moon tomorrow." Remus said to Snape at the Great Hall.

"Fine, did you have something specific in mind as to what I should teach them?" Snape asked as he took his seat on the Head Table.

"Yeah, I thought it would be great to bring a boggart" Remus said as he took the seat besides Snape, all of a sudden the table was filled with different foods.

"Where do you keep the boggart?" Snape asked as he filled his plate with food.

"It's in my office, under the desk in a trunk" Remus explained as he too followed Snapes example. Snape ate fast, and soon he was on his way to his own office.

'Look at all this paperwork, and I have to keep detention today, it's really surprising how many students have detention daily' Snape thought as he looked at his desk, which was filled with paperwork.

Snape made his way to his desk and started writing his paperwork. He turned around to look at the shelf behind him, to see that a picture had fallen. He stood up and picked it up.

He was really surprised to see what the picture showed. It was a really old picture of himself and Lily, when they were just eight years old, the little Snape was running after little Lily. As Snape looked at the picture, he got a sad smile on his face.

'If only Lily didn't marry that Potter, she would still be here' Snape thought.

He put the picture back in its shelf and made his way to detention. When he got there, he saw two first years.

"You'll be cleaning the classroom today, with no magic, give me your wands" Snape said as he sat down on a chair. The two brunette boys gave him their wands and started cleaning.

'I really want to see Lily one last time' Snape thought. Soon the detention was over and Snape went to his room and as soon as he laid down on his bed he fell asleep.

Snape woke up the next morning to his pet birds' song. He got up and got ready for the day, he also put some food in his birds' cage.

He went to the Great Hall and took a toast, which he ate on the way to the defense against the dark arts classroom. He got in the classroom and looked under the desk to see if Remus brought the trunk with the boggart.

Soon the classroom started getting filled with students, and the classroom got filled with students.

"All right, we'll start today's lesson" Snape said as he lifted the trunk on the desk.

"I want everyone to practice the 'Riddiculus' charm, so in this trunk there's a boggart, so form a line in front of my desk" Snape ordered.

Hermione was the first in line and as soon as the trunk was opened the boggart turned in Professor McGonagall.

"Riddiculus!" Hermione shouted and Professor McGonagall turned into a cute pink teddy-bear.

Next up came Harry and the boggart turned into a dementor.
All of a sudden Harry froze.

"Mr. Potter what do you think you're doing? Shout the spell already" Snape said, but Harry didn't move an inch.

Snape went in front of Harry and the dementor turned into a woman. The woman had beautiful red hair and green eyes.

Everyone was shocked and some people even shouted:

"Snape's worst fear...is a woman?"

Snapes face showed fear and shock. And all of a sudden Harry started to cry.

"What's wrong Harry?" Hermione asked.

"That's my mom..." Harry wept.

"LILY!" Snape shouted.

"You betrayed me...you murdered me..." Lily said, her expression was of betrayal.

"I'm sorry, Lily" Snape said.

"Riddiculus!" Someone shouted from behind him.

"Class dismissed!" Snape yelled as he shut the trunk.

To his surprise not everyone left.

"You know, it wasn't your fault that my mom died. I'm sure she doesn't blame you about anything" Harry said as he shut the door behind himself.

'I'm glad that you had Harry, Lily. He really grew to be a great boy' Snape thought as he too exited the classroom.
