Peyton- Hi my name is Peyton Meyer today is Monday my son Ben's first day of school
Goes and wakes Ben up
Peyton- Ben buddy time to get up it's your first day of school
Ben- But daddy I don't want to go to school
Peyton- What why not?
Ben- The kids might make fun of me
Peyton- Why would you say that? They are going to love you
Ben- because I walk funny
Peyton- You see Ben was born with cerebral palsy he doesn't walk all that well. Oh buddy they won't make fun of you now come on let's get you dressed
Ben- OK daddy
Peyton- What do you want to wear today buddy?
Ben- I want to wear my dragon shirt black pants
Peyton- Alright buddy
Ben- Daddy?
Peyton- Yeah buddy?
Ben- You miss mommy?
Peyton- Yes buddy I do. You see my wife died about a year ago in a car accident coming home from work my son Ben was 3 now he's 4 on his way to his first day of school
Ben- Daddy?
Peyton- Yeah buddy?
Ben- Do you think mommy is proud of me?
Peyton- Oh yes buddy I know for sure mommy is proud of you mommy has been proud of you since you were born now are you ready for school?
Ben- No not yet
Peyton- What why not?
Ben- Because I did not eat silly
Peyton- Oh yeah right I forgot what do you want to eat?
Ben- A piece of toast please
Peyton- Alright buddy
Peyton makes Ben toast they get ready for school
Ben- All done daddy
Peyton- Alright buddy let's clean you up then we'll get going
Peyton cleans Ben up and they leave the house
Peyton- Ready to go buddy?
Ben- Yes daddy
Peyton- Alright buddy let's go you got your backpack?
Ben- Yep let's go
Off to the school they go and over at Rowan's
Rowan- Hi my name is Rowan Blanchard today is Monday my son Nick's first day of school
Goes wakes Nick up
Rowan- Honey time to get up it's your first day of school
Nick- But mommy I don't want to go to school today
Rowan- What why not?
Nick- Because I just don't want too
Rowan- That's not a good answer up please
Nick- Fine
Rowan- Thank you let mommy help you get dressed what do you want to wear?
Nick- My dinosaur shirt and some blue pants
Rowan- Alright
Rowan gets Nick dressed
Rowan- Alright your all dressed let's get you something to eat then we are going to school
Nick- Ok mommy
Rowan- What do you want to eat?
Nick- Pop-Tart please
Rowan- coming right up
Nick- Mommy am I going to daddy's this weekend?
Rowan- I don't know baby boy, you see Nick's father I are divorced we have been divorced for a year now we got divorced last year when Nick was 3 he is 4 now he is going to his first day of school today
Nick- All done mommy
Rowan- Alright let's clean you up
Rowan cleans up Nick and gets ready to leave
Rowan- Ready to go got your backpack?
Nick- Yep and yep let's go
Out the door they go
