What do you do when you can't afford to have your children? Even though your mother was the same way, she still kept you, but could you have had a better life somewhere else?

"Congratulations, its twin girls," the nurse at St. Mungos said, looking at Charlie and me with a smile. I looked at her in shock, twins? Charlie looked pale, we couldn't afford to have another two children.

Our three-year-old son was already a handful, and after Charlie lost his job in Romania, we could barely afford rent. I never worked because Charlie always made good money.

"Twins," Charlie said with a frown, "What are we going to do Ly?"

"I don't know, Char," I said, my eyes filling with tears, "I'm going to apply for that job at Hogwarts. Now that Poppy's gone they need someone for the Hospital Wing."

"It still won't be enough," Charlie said with a frown, "We'd have another two mouths to feed."

"I know," I said, tears falling down my cheeks, "Maybe we should give one up."

Charlie hugged me tight, "I don't think we have a choice, Ly. We're worse off than mum and dad were when I was young. I don't want our daughters and son to have to go through that."

By this time the nurses brought back the girls and gave one to be and one to Charlie, "Nymphadora," I whispered, holding the child close to me.

"Ember," Charlie said, just as quiet, "I hope you get a good home, sweetie."

"Black," I said, quietly, "We can't name her a Weasley."

Charlie nodded, "Okay, Ember Black."

"We can't tell your parents," I said quietly, "They'll never understand."

Charlie nodded, "Maybe once the money issue is resolved we'll feel better."

"She'll just be a memory," I whispered, trying to stop crying.

Charlie kissed the top of my head, "She'll always be more than a memory, Lyra."

I nodded, tears falling uncontrollably, I rocked Nymphadora gently and Charlie brought Ember out of the room. I couldn't even hold my daughter that I had to give up. I knew how hard it was for Charlie, but I just couldn't. She was only a innocent baby, but we didn't really have much of a choice. I took a deep breath and started to feed Nymphadora, this was going to be a long night.
