What do you get when you have two broken hearted teens who happen to visit the same fountain on the same day at the same time?

The blonde dragged her feet towards the fountain she had been visiting on her darkest days for as long as she can remember.

"Gosh, all that water splashing out can't compare to the sea of tears streaming in me right now", she said on which she sighed.

*sniff sniff* She heard a soft noise.

"Is someone crying?"

She walked around the fountain 'till the movement of her feet stopped at a boy with ivory hair. His head was headed downwards, so she couldn't see his face.

"Are you okay?", Namine asked.

The contemporary stopped crying and mumbled something inaudible.

"Sorry, what did you say?"

It's quiet for a moment. The boy lifts his head up.

"I said: "What does it look like?""

"Oh, right, of course, you were crying. That question was superfluous. However, a normal person would've figured that was also kind of a rhetoric question."

With those lines, she silenced him for a while.

"Namine", she said awkwardly.

He looked at her with an empty-headed expression "What?"

"That's my name, Namine!"

He flashes a lazy smile "I'm Hope. Kinda ironic, cos I'm a hopeless romantic for today."

"Well, I guess I'm not the only one with an off-day", she said witty.

"What happened to you?", he asked, out of the blue.

"Are you sure you wanna hear? I don't want to bore you."

"Try me."

"Alright."
