All over the world there are fairies, pixies and elves, who lead similar lives to us humans. They live, the love, they hate, and they die. Just like us.
Their favourite past time involves socialising. Fairies are very social creatures and they constantly get together with friends. The best way to do this is party. So, we set the scene in New Zealand, where fairies are renowned for their fantastic parties.
It's midnight, and all across the forest clearing buttercups and bluebells are glowing, casting light over the soft grass, where fairies and other folk are meeting and greeting. Set to the left, between two twisted tree roots is a wide selection of strange foods and alcoholic drinks. To the right of the glade, couples and friends are sitting among the twists and knots of the roots of various other trees that surround the opening. And in the actual clearing wings flutter as folk flirt, dance and laugh.
Here we find Hazel Turbell, standing near the food and drinks, choosing something to have. She's being chatted up by a handsome blue-haired pixie-boy. Tonight she is wearing a short golden petal skirt and a golden halter-neck top, decorated around the waist with tiny pollen spots. She is also wearing brown flat three-quarter-length slouch boots, with a pointed toe, and a brown band-hat. He blonde hair is up in pigtails, her light blue skin is shiny, and she is wearing white jewellery. Her wings are a see-through glittery gold. She looks amazing.
"So," the blue-haired cute pixie boy began, "What are you up to later, Hazel?"
Whilst still standing, leaning on the tree, she crossed her right leg over her left. "Nothing much, Robin." She replied.
"Want to go someplace else?" he ventured to ask.
She smiled knowingly back at him, noticing a glint in his blue eyes. "sure."
He laughed a little. "Well come on then!"
