A/N: Another fic from me. I'm trying to occupy my time as much as possible, cause it's too boring here!! It's a short one-shot fic. CagalliXAhmed.
I WILL WAIT…I WILL…
"Argh! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!" Cagalli yelled as she slammed her fists in the wall of her huge dark room.
"Athrun!! I hate you so damn much!!" Cagalli yelled once more as tears started streaming down her face. She bowed her head as tears kept coming.
"…I said I won't cry…I said I won't!..." By now, Cagalli was in the floor hugging her legs as her feelings rushed out of her.
"Cagalli? Cagalli?" Someone called from her door which unfortunately was unlocked. "Cagalli…" He called once more as he approached her in the corner of her room crying all her frustrations out.
"…Ahmed…please I want to be alone…" Cagalli said with sobs in between, she was still crying her hearts out, only without sounds, she didn't want Ahmed to see her in times like this, when she is at her weakest.
"No Cagalli…this is the most important time when you need someone." Ahmed replied and got neared Cagalli.
"…Ah….med…I hate him!! …I…wanna…punch the lights out of him!!..." This time, she looked at him as she said those words.
"Ath…Athrun…" Cagalli bowed her head once more and cried with sounds that made Ahmed can't take it anymore.
"Punch me, slap me, kick me!! Do whatever you like!! Pretend that I'm him!! Just stop being like that! I can't take it if you're like that!" Ahmed shouted, and then looked away immediately as Cagalli glanced at him once more.
Finally, she stood up.
"…No!! He's not you!! He'll never be like you!! Cause he…he's the only one….that I cared for….that I treasured…that I loved…" 'Damn…I hate these tears…'Cagalli thought.
"I…never said that I want to be him so that you'll…care for me the same way. I just wanted you to forget about him." Ahmed replied.
"Can't I be the one whom you'll treasure…whom you'll love?..." he then added. As he said those words, he felt as if tears where threatening to fall from his eyes. He then left her room.
Cagalli stood there. Stunned, she would never have thought…"Ahmed…"
The next week…
Cagalli finally had strength to confront Ahmed. She had been avoiding him since that night. As she stepped out of her room…as is by fate, Ahmed passed by.
"Anou…excuse me…Ahmed…I want to speak with you." Cagalli spoke with a gloomy voice.
'She sounded as if she cried again last night…'Ahmed thought once he heard Cagalli calling him.
"Sure…" he replied. They headed to the balcony located outside Cagalli's room.
"Um…about that night, what you said…um…Ahmed…I…I'm…" Before Cagalli could speak further, Ahmed placed his index finger in Cagalli's lips.
"Cagalli…I will wait…I will wait no matter how long it will take. Just…come to me…when it's over…okay? I will wait for you…I will…" With this, Ahmed left once more.
Cagalli smiled for the first time in months. "Thank you…Ahmed…".
