Beautiful and terrible and wonderful, it glowed faintly above Xemnas' head, floating so silently in the space above them and reflecting itself in the wide windows - utterly pure.
Saix sighed and Xemnas looked at him briefly before turning away with only an inclination of his head to acknowlege the other Nobodies' prescence.
They stood in silence for minutes, staring upwards, their dark eyes only fixated on that one point in the sky that bellowed its sad message across the heavens. It was their only hope. Their only hope. Xemnas made a little noise with his mouth, a cross between an aching sigh and something else.
"I'd give the first one to you." He said softly, not even able to look Saix in the eye.
Saix smiled for the first time.
