There was lightning shooting out of the sky into Gawl's empty chest; or maybe it was the other way around. Masami wasn't exactly sure. She wasn't even sure why she was in this flying helicopter type thing with Koji, Ryo, the creepy Kanae guy and the whacked professor Nekasa.
"Professor," Kanae said. "Professor, are you all right?" Takuma Nekasa was freaking out something terrible.
Suddenly, his eyes cleared, he looked over at Kanae and calmly said, "Koji."
Kanae smiled. "Close, but wrong."
Takuma Nekasa looked confused. "Does that mean I'm not Ryo?"
"Yup."
"So...Who the heck am I?" Professor Nekasa demanded.
"That's a bloody good question," Kanae stated. "I wish I knew."
"Wait, why would the professor think that Kanae is Koji?" Ryo asked, utterly confused.
"Because I look like Koji, and maybe I was Koji in a past and or future life. I jumped into the time rift that Gawl created and was thrown into a time a few years before all of this happened. I was alone at the time because I wasn't even supposed to be there. I'm really...a woman."
He ripped his face off (it was a mask) and an older version of Masami, unmistakable due to her coffee can head piece, sat where Kanae had been moments before.
"AH!" Masami yelled. "He's me!"
"Then who are you?" Koji demanded of the professor.
"I guess that makes me Natsume from a time when she didn't kill herself." The Professor pulled of his face to reveal...
"ACK!" Masami screeched. "It's my mother!"
"Hold on," Nekasa's voice in Masami's mother's face said. He ripped off his face once more to reveal...

"What the heck? I guess I'm really me," he said with a shrug. Masami began to have convulsions.
"What about Gawl?" Koji asked. "What happens to him?"
"Well, since I'm future Masami and the Professor turned out to be a nobody, we're not really sure what's going on, so basically the world is screwed," Kanae said cheerfully.
"My guess is that since Gawl had his heart ripped out he'll probably die," Nekasa said wisely.
Koji began to shake Kanae and scream at him/her while Ryo cried and Masami twitched. Nekasa ate some popcorn and watched the end of the world.
Outside...
Gawl figured everything out by himself since his genius friends had abandoned him and allowed his heart to be ripped out (which really hurt!!) He decided that the lightning must mean something and thought pleasant thoughts until...
A whole new world was created, made up entirely of beautiful women who fanned him and fed him grapes while he relaxed on a lawn chair.
