A/N: So this was based on something my friend said during school. I hope you get a laugh out of it at least! XD
Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha, but Irena is mine. ^^ Well, kinda. She's based on my friend… lol
I sat there on my bed, rocking slightly, just for something to do. Let's face it, I was bored. Bored out of my brain. I let out a soft groan slip passed my lips, but she didn't look up.
My friend.
She was over for the day, but since she'd entered my room, she said nothing. That was an hour ago. She spent her time studying the pictures I had displayed on the walls, and the DVDs stacked on my shelf instead of books.
To her, I was a fascinating creature, I was sure.
"Irena, are you EVER going to talk to me?" I sighed, flopping back on my bed. I folded my arms behind my head.
"Who's You?"
"Huh?" I sat up suddenly, receiving a slight head rush, and stared at my friend. She was holding a DVD in her hand, examining it with a furrowed brow.
"Uh, what're you talking about? I'm me." I looked at her hesitantly, and she frowned and met my eyes.
"No, you idiot," Oh, so I was the idiot now? "Who is Kick You?"
Okay, now I was insanely confused. "Give that here," I said impatiently, grabbing the DVD out of her hands. She let it slip from between her fingers without hesitation, and awaited my response as I scanned the DVD cover.
"Oh!" I said, slapping my palm to my forehead in realisation. "You mean Kikyou." I pointed to the girl dressed in red and white on the cover of the DVD, and Irena scowled.
"It's Kick You. That's what it says."
I rolled my eyes dramatically. "No it's not; you pronounce it Kik-yo." I stretched out the syllables so she would understand, but the stubborn expression did not shift from her face.
"Kick You." She crossed her arms in finality, and for a second, I considered what she was on about. I guess Kikyou DID deserve a good, hard kick… into a grave.
And so my second was up, and I was back to thinking about how my friend would never agree with me. "Whatever." I shrugged and tossed the rectangular object towards her, and she caught it swiftly, looking triumphant.
"See? I knew I was right." Irena placed the DVD, grinning, back onto my supposed bookshelf, and I smirked, lying back on my bed again. Irena was a stubborn one, but I guess she had a point.
If Inuyasha said, 'Kick You!' every time he met the dead priestess, Kagome would charge in without hesitation and kick Kikyou until the woman was soaring with the stars. A wide grin spread across my face at the thought of this sudden mental image, and I closed my eyes peacefully, listening to the rummaging as my friend continued to rifle through my bookshelf.
