Onii-chan
Ladybug struggled against her bindings.
It was no use. She was effectively bound to the lamppost while Onii-chan stood right in front of her, ready to claim her Miraculous.
There was nothing she could do. she had kicked the akuma off earlier but Onii-chan was too close now. She could only watch as the akuma thrust her sword into the ground in order to have both hands free.
She could do nothing as the akuma extended her hands and ripped the earrings from her ears. There was a sharp pain but it was nothing in comparison to the feeling of her suit slowly dissolving.
"Finally. We will find out who you are Ladybu-
Onii-chan did not finish her sentence as she dissolved in a ball of red light. Now there stood a Firefighter where the Akuma once stood.
"Run!" Ladybug shouted to the confused Firefighter who did not need to be told twice before he took off.
It was not long after that when her transformation dropped, her lucky charm disappearing with it. She dropped to her knees, tears streaming down her face as the sudden realisation of what happened hit her.
Her gaze, however blurred it may be, landed on something to her left. A sword. The object. A small spark of hope lightened her heart.
She may not be Ladybug right now, but she was a hero nonetheless.
A few streets away onii-chan appeared before Chat Noir.
The boy's heart broke at the sight of the two red and black spotted earrings Onii-chan held in front of his face. Mocking him.
His partner had lost her miraculous. He may never see ladybug again.
"M'lady...
