It was nice to see him happy. That goofy smile she inspired into him Chari. We all called her that.

Haru teased her, called her Charizard. Can't blame him. The names were only off by 4 letters, but they didn't sound very similar.

Momiji found her entertaining. Being the klutz that she was.

Tohru got along with her easily, they clicked, being the only girls of the house.

Kagura was jealous at first, she simmered down after Chari beat "the snot out of her"...for the fifth time.

Ritsu wasn't sure of what to make of her at first, she immediatly accepted him and his cross-dressing. She figured that hey-if she could cross dress wearing men's clothing and no one complained why should she complain about him wearing women's clothing.

Kureno was shocked when he met her, she had a major attitude, but that must've ben why Kyo got along with her so well.

Akito was more or less shocked herself...Chari told her off like there was no tomorrow. And didn't even say sorry when she found out she WAS the head of the family.

Kisa seemed wary but she accepted Chari into the family as she had everyone else and even grew to think of her as another sibling.

Hiro was wary, he didn't like her at first but he ended up liking her once Kisa pointed out how cool she was in reality.

Rin thought she wasn't worth much, a passing fancy but ended up giving Chari pointers on the Sohma males of the family.

Shigure thought she was another pretty face, and pretty much foudn out her attitude didn't mimick her appearance so well.

Ayame...he thought about the same thing.

Arisa (Tohru's friend Uo-chan) loved her at first glance, hey, Chari is a Yankee herself after all.

Saki (Hana-chan) got along well enough with her as well.

Megumi seemed to like her enough, he didn't even ask her name, he gave her her nickname right away, which ended up being Tampopo (meaning Dandelion). He ended up calling her Popo after a while. She continuously gave him noogies until he went back to Tampopo.

I was mildly impressed with her. Alright, I was quite impressed. She was nice, she had a temper, She reminded all of us of Haru. Only she would be grey if any of his personalities. She had more mood swings than a pregnant woman. We swear.

Yuki liked her right away as well, she joined the Martial Arts club and ended up even getting into a Literature club, both of which he often saw over.

Kyo...he was distant from her but eventually became infatuated with her. Although he managed to piss her off a few times before hand.

Their meetings of Chari were all rather comical. The order went something entirely unlike that list, I was the first to meet her. Maybe to understand her you have to meet her in our own ways.

Train Station- Hatori Meets Chari

"Ah, are you Antaika, Chari?" I asked as I stepped towards a girl with black hair. She had layered hair down to her shoulder blades, her eyes were a dark brown and her skin color was a dark tan. She only stood about 5' 2" or so, but that wasn't too short for a woman.

"Hi! Yes I am, and are you uhmm.." Here the girl looked at her hand and squinted, "Samho, Hotari?"

"...Sohma Hatori." I corrected as the girl laughed nervously.

"Right! That's what I meant! Eh heh heh heh." She chuckled.

"Follow me then, we'll get your bags." I said as I turned around towards the baggage claim areas.

"Uh-uhm, I HAVE my bags actually." Chari said with a smile.

"You do?" I asked.

"Yeah, right here. I can carry them." She said as she picked up two medium sized backpacks. She followed me to the car and clambered into the back with her bags to see a sleeping tiger (who was actually an ill Kisa), "EEK!" She managed to scream.

"Sorry about that Kisa hasn't been well lately, why don't you sit up front with me. I promise your belongings are safe." I said as she gingerly set her bags in the back, closed the door and hopped up front. I let the dark window that seperated the front from the back close up and it hid Kisa, in case she might change back. I drove to Shigure's and took Chari's bags out, handing them to her before locking the doors and steering her into the house.

Shigure's House- Haru meets Chari

Hatori came in with someone else as I popped my head over the fridge door.

"Anyone home?" Haru asked.

"Mim mewe!" I said around a chicken leg. Hey, I don't eat STEAK. Never said I wouldn't eat Chicken. Though...I think Kureno tended to try to shoot us when we ate it in front of him. Which must have been why we didn't EVER have Chicken at the Main House. No wonder I loved eating over here. Anyways, the girl came in before Hatori. I was guessing she wasn't from Tokyo, maybe the Kyoto region, but not Tokyo. She seemed to have that air as she came in and bit her lip after raising a brow at my face. Hurriedly I took the chicken leg out of my mouth.

"This is Antaika, Chari. Chari- this is...Sohma, Hatsuharu." Hatori introduced as I raised a brow.

"That seemed hesitant Hari." I teased, "Nice to meet you." I added with a bow as Chari smiled and bowed.

"The pleasure is mine. You live here?" She asked, intrigued.

"Ha! I wish. But ne. I don't. Shigure, Tohru, Kyo, and Yuki are out on the town. I came by after they left. There was a note on the fridge sayin they wouldn't be here for a few. They said you room was up the stairs and to the left. Next to Kyo's. I'll take your bags up there for you." I offered.

"No no! I couldn't let you do that! You're eating! I'll take them up." She said as she walked up the stairs with her backpacks. I looked at Hari as soon as she was out of earshot.

"Aren't you guys afraid she'll figure it out?"

"Not really."

"...OMG! THE END OF THE WORLD! HARI'S NOT WORRIED!"

"Shut up Haru." Whap.

"Ow...fuck."

"Watch your mouth too."

"Fine. Ow...Fudge."

"Much Better." I sighed...sometimes Hari really didn't understand sarcasm.

"So how's her name spelled?"

"C-H-A-R-I." Hari spelled out as I laughed, "I'm inclined to ask-what's so funny?"

"Sounds like the spelling of Charizard." I answered laughing.

"...heh. It does."

"CHARI! WE'VE GOT A NICKNAME FOR YA!" I yelled up the stairs as slow steps came up to the railing.

"Really now?" She asked intrigued.

"Charizard." I answered simply with a smile as her face went blank.

"A pokemon?"

"A pokemon."

"Jeez..."

"I'll be going now, stay here until Shigure comes back. When he gets back head straight home. You need to take care of Kisa." Hari said.

"...She's sick AGAIN?"

"Yes. See you at home."

"Yea yea, bye." Charizard snickered at me as Hari left.

Phone in Shigure's Hallway- Momiji Meets Chari-Sorta

I was calling Shigure's to make sure Haru was still alive. Hari had told me earlier that a girl was over with him and I was officially CUR-I-OUS!

"Hello?" A girl asked after the third ring of the phone.

"Hi! This is Sohma, Momiji! Who's this!?" I asked hyperly.

"Uh...this is Antaika, Chari. You're probably looking for one of the other Sohma's right? Uhm, Hold on, Haru is right here." Chari said.

"Dammit! I didn't wanna talk to nobody!" Haru shouted from the background.

"Tough Shit, Twerp. Take the phone! It's your own relative!"

"No way! I have a day off from Family Obligations!"

"HATSUHARU!"

"AHH! FINE!! DAMN WOMEN ARE SCARY! Hello?" Haru answered the phone in his usual stoic mood.

"AHAHAHAHAHA! The New Arrival is already bossing you around Haru!?" I asked as Haru growled.

"Shut up Little Rabbit Boy, or I'll be tempted to cook Rabbit Stew tonight. Momiji being the key ingredient." I gulped at that comment and laughed nervously.

"Yessir. So is that Chari girl nice?"

"For the most part. She took well enough to her nickname."

"Which is?"

"Charizard."

"AHAHA! NICE!"

"Yeah, Even Hari thought so. Oh, how's Kisa doing?"

"Good, she's got a flu. But I gotta go my time on the phone's up. Talk to ya when you get home. Tell Charizard Hello and Good Bye for me!"

"Will Do." Haru answered as he put the phone down. Turning the conversation off for now.

Shigure's House- Shigure Meets Chari

"I'm ho-o-ome!" I sang as I opened the door and found a note on the phone.

'Hatori called about the new girl. Akito wants to see you tomorrow morning-Kureno told me. Mai-chan called about your book, seriously, stop harrassing her. Oh and Kyo, Tohru, and Yuki's teacher wants to talk to you about the boys grades. Tohru's too I guess. Anyways, thew new girl's in your living room. Said she was taking a nap, I'd tell you her name, but I fergot it. I've been calling her Charizard, just call her that I guess.

Hatsuharu'

I smirked while reading my cousin's writing. Well, tomorrow I'd see Akito then. Probably should meet that nameless girl. But first- FOOD! Oh..and maybe a call to Mai. Nah...that could wait after Akito. So I grabbed a snack and went into the living room with a bag of oreos and two glasses of milk, in case the girl woke up. I grabbed a book and sat in a chair, seeing that the girl was indeed asleep on the sofa with a blanket that had been put on her after the fact. I was guessing that Haru had been feeling kind before he left. The girl stirred and opened her eyes blearily.

"IEEE!" She yelled as she sat bolt up right, startling the hell outta me.

"Ah! Hold on young lady! I care not to hurt you! This is my house! I swear!" I yelped in my own defense as the young lady sighed.

"I am Antaika, Chari, nice to meet you..ah-" She started.

"Sohma, Shigure. Nice to meet you Chari. Just so you know, three other hormonally driven people live with me."

"...eh?" She asked with one eyebrow raised.

"Three teenagers." I explained as Chari laughed.

"I see."

"Two boys and another girl. The boys are my cousin and the young lady is kind of like my daughter."

"Ohhh, is she related to you by blood?"

"No no, we kind of adopted her into the family altogether."

"Oh, I see. How nice." Chari said smiling.

"Who knows, maybe we'll add you in." Chari's smile turned into surprised expression as she blinked.

"That would be an honor." She answered recovering.

"Cookie and Milk?" I suddenly asked, offering the oreos and motioning to a glass of milk as Chari laughed happily at my random question that was completely off subject. Wait...that IS random...I need to brush up my vocabulary again.

Living Room- Kyo meets Chari-in a sense

"DAMN RAT! SHUT UP! I DON'T CARE!" I yelled as a loud punching sound came from the steps where we stood, it could easily carry into the house.

"Kyo-kun! Yuki-kun! Don't fight! Please!" Tohru's worried voice yelped at Yuki and I.

"Shut your face Stupid Cat. I don't need to listen to you." Yuki growled at me.

"THEN DON'T LISTEN TO MY VOICE! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS BLOCK IT OUT! YOU DON'T HAVE TO INTERJECT INTO A CONVERSATION THAT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" BAM, CRASH there I went flying through the hall as a girl 'eep'ed at the sight of me and Shigure, who had been talking to the girl, obviously getting to know her, sighed while I tried to rush at Yuki who was about to look into the living room when I came at him. He grabbed my hand and threw me into the living room, onto the table. I hit my head on both glass cups of milk, and fell through the glass coffee table as most winced, well, all but me-I out right screamed in agony, and Yuki-who just didn't care.

"...Who are you? Who is this!? SHIGURE! WHY IS ANOTHER WOMAN IN OUR HOUSE!" I yelled as the girl offered her hand to me.

"Get up, Kyo." Shigure said motioning to the girl's hand, "Tohru, can you get the first aid?" Yuki made no move and the girl raised an eyebrow.

"Did he not ask you to get the first aid?" the girl asked. Yuki raised a brow.

"I'm not Tohru." He answered. I wanted to out right laugh at that, but it'd sound more cruel to Tohru than to Yuki. It was mroe of a compliment to Yuki rather than Tohru.

"Yuki! Get into the kitchen!" Shigure yelled, "I'll talk to you about the furniture in there!"

"Fine." Yuki said turning.

"...So the girl is named a guys name and the guy is named a guys name, now tell me, does your name MEAN girl or is that gonna be a good name?" the un-named girl asked.

"Sohma, Kyo." He answered.

"Good name." She said smiling.

"You?" Speaking of names, I'd GET hers.

"Antaika, Chari. But the Black and White Punk who reminds me of a silent movie, is calling me Charizard for some god-given reason." Obviously talking about Hatsuharu here.

"...He's odd. Point-ow- blank." I said wincing when Chari's hand brushed over some of the glass in my back. Maybe I can find a store window to throw Yuki head first in tomorrow.

"Can you take your shirt off?" Chari asked. I raised a brow, "NOT LIKE THAT!" Chari yelped in her defense as Tohru came in. I chuckled lightly.

"Are you another Sohma?" Tohru asked as Chari burst out laughing.

"Ne, ne, I'm the exchange student." Chari said with amusement as I managed to get my shirt off, pulling a few pieces of the glass from my very sore back. Tohru got the loose glass out of my hair and head an etc. as Chari got the rest of the glass out of my back and both girls bandaged my cuts up.

"School or ne tomorrow, Kyo-kun?" Tohru asked me gently.

"NE." I stated firmly through gritted teeth at the witch hazel being put on my back, I wasn't trying to sound mean. It just hurt like a bitch. "Chari, are you going to our school?" I asked trying to get my mind off of the stinging from my back.

"Hai, but not tomorrow. I have to wait a few days to get settled or something." She said with a slight scoff at the school system. I grinned. She was starting to sound like someone worth talking to.

Tohru's Room- Tohru OFFICIALLY meets Chari

"Uh-uhm...Tohru, I got your name but I don't think you got mine." Chari said, I think it was Chari, that's what Kyo had called her earlier, tapping the door and opening it slightly when I told her to come in.

"Oh, that's right, well, I'm Honda, Tohru." I said bowing happily.

"And I'm Antaika, Chari. Though for some deranged reason, Mr. Silent Movie, is calling me Charizard."

"Who?" I was sincerely confused

"Haru."

"Oh!" I laughed, nobody'd called him THAT before "Mr. Silent Movie?" I asked, questioning the nickname that Chari had given Haru 'on the sly'.

"Silent movies are black and white. And then there's his hair. And he's a silent person." She explained as I laughed. Unique, I'd deffinetly give her that.

"I get it." I answered still chuckling as I glanced at the time on my alarm clock reading 11:30, "My! I better go to bed. Are you alright in your room? Or would you rather sleep in here tonight?" I offered as Chari thought about it. I knew it was hard to sleep in a new room in a new house. Maybe company would be nice though.

"If it's alright to accept the offer, company would be preferred." Chari said, she sounded like she was feeling like a young child, even though we are the same age. I motioned for Chari to fully come in and we climbed into the bed to fall asleep. Making a home in a new city, new house, with a new family, who wouldn't want to sleep in a room with a friend for the night? Well, that's what I figured, and Chari seemed to agree.

Kitchen- Yuki meets Chari

"Were you so busy screaming at last me night I wasn't able to ask. Who's the girl in our new house?" I asked tiredly, so tiredly that my words were switching places. Too tired to re-say it, I let Shigure take a crack at replacing the words in their right order.

"Oh, The girl is an exchange student for your school." Shigure answered after taking a minute to figure out the 'coded message'.

"So girl is the that." I mumbled, still half asleep, "I mean: So that is the girl. ...I need more sleep." I muttered as I nodded off just before sitting down.

"Yuki...Yuki wake up long enough to sit down." Shigure said as I plopped on the ground and was soon asleep again.

"Good morning!" The girl said with some flour on her nose and a bit sprinkled into her hair, making Shigure obviously think of a Granny at his next statement. My eyes were closed, but I was awake. Just in case that cat wanted to try and punch me this morning.

"Good morning, Granny Charizard." Shigure smirked as the girl rose a half grey eye brow and looked into a mirror. Laughing as she got the joke.

"Pancakes for breakfast." She added half telling, half explaining her appearance. Tohru came downstairs with a stretch.

"My, our flower isn't in the kitchen?" Shigure asked as Tohru blushed and laughed.

"Chari-chan made me go back to sleep. She said I looked very tired." Tohru added.

"Well, it smells like she found everything." I managed to mumble, my eyes were still closed but my head was resting on the table as Kyo sat down across from Tohru. The girl, Tohru called her Chari I think, brought the food out and set it on the table, sitting with them and passing bowls around. They got me up and awake with a cup of coffee. Black, two sugars. Thank the gods for making caffeine existant in the dark waters of Coffee. Damn, now I wanna watch the movie Dark Water.

"So, what's your name again?" I asked. I should get my memory checked, shouldn't I?

"Antaika, Chari." the girl answered.

"Sohma, Yuki. Nice to meet you, oh and if you meet a man named Sohma, Ayame who claims to be my brother- it's a lie." I said seriously as Chari chuckled. Atleast she understood I was being sarcastic.

"I know how that smooths out." She said obviously thinking about her own siblings at home, "Yuki, I hear you're the class president of the seniors?" Chari asked.

"Yes, I am." I wanted to finish eating but continued the conversation anyways. God I'm dumb.

"What clubs are there to join?" Chari asked.

"It depends on what you enjoy to do." I was only asking to eat at the moment. Honestly.

"Well, I like, Martial Arts, Reading, and Criticing." Chari said.

"There's a Dojo Club, they teach some martial arts, but I'd say go to an actual sensei for that, you can train with our sensei," I said pointing between Kyo and I, "There's a Book Club, they volunteer to help in the library quite often and they discuss new books they're reading often as well, Shigure's actually a writer, but don't expect much, he drives his editor insane, literally, and then there's the Newspaper Club, they function like the real deal." I explained as Chari obviously thought about it.

"Take ya up on the Sensei thing, but I'd like to meet with the people of those clubs, if that's allowed?" Chari asked.

"Of course, you'll get a list of clubs, it's mandatory to be in at least one." I exlpained, "Mine is Student Council."

"I've joined the Cooking Club." Tohru added in.

"...I'm in the Kendo Club." Kyo explained when Chari cast him a questioning look. Her eyes brightened at the Club name.

"OHH! Kendo!? There's a Kendo Club!?" She yelped happily as Kyo inched away and Shigure,Tohru, and I laughed at the reaction as she clapped her hands together happily.

"Yeah, I'll bring the papers home after school for you." I offered

"Thank you!" Chari sang as Tohru and I got up and left for school with good-byes. Shigure left to meet with Akito and Kyo and Chari stayed.

"So...wanna go meet that Sensei we were talking about?" I heard Kyo ask while starting to help Chari do dishes. I caught Chari smiling brightly at the offer and Kyo blush for no apparent reason before I couldn't see them from the window anymore.

Dojo- Shishou meets Chari

"Shishou? You here? I have a friend you sould-DUCK!" I heard Kyo yelp shoving a verysurprised girl's head down as they both fell to the ground to avoid the bo staff I had thrown. My foot tapped in annoyance, "I missed Monday night and I apologize for my behavior, it will not happen again." Kyo apologized as I looked at him and the girl.

"And that is?" I asked as I walked over to retrieve my bo staff that stuck out of the wall. the girl helped Kyo up, apprently he hurt his back and head. Damn, the bo staff was stuck fast tight.

"May I try?" The girl asked.

"That's Chari, Antaika, Chari. Chari, this is Sensei Kazuma, I'm the only one who calls him Shishou, but if you want, I'm sure he wouldn't mind you calling him Shishou either." Kyo said, introducing us as I watched the girl grab the staff, grunt out a hello before putting both feet on the wall, using the bo staff to stay on the wall and then yank at it, it gave out and Kyo and I caught her before she hit her head on the floor. We let out sighs of relief as the upside down girl laughed.

"Are you guys related by blood?" She asked.

"Just barely. But Kyo is like my son." I answered her as Kyo smiled.

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you sir." She said as she bowed and then noticed the staff still in her hands, "That belongs to you." She added half to herself it seemed as she handed me the staff. I chuckled.

"Thank you." I added.

"Uhm, Kazuma-sama, I was wondering if, possibly, while I am residing here for the year, if you would be my Sensei in Martial Arts?" Chari asked me as I smiled.

"Only a year?"

"W-well, that would depend on where I live after school, but possibly only one year." Chari answered, she seemed to be getting nervous. I broke out into a full-force grin.

"I'd love to take you on as another student." I answered as a soft woosh came from her mouth.

"THANK YOU!" She exclaimed happily as I laughed.

"You'll have Kyo's schedule for lessons, just come when he comes." I explained.

"Alright." Chari answered as I figured out the days. Today was Tuesday, so the next lesson was Wednesday.

"Come back tomorrow after school." I said as Chari and Kyo bowed.

"Arigato!" Both said happily.

"So are you two staying for tea?" I asked as they looked at each other and smiled.

"Sure!" They both answered at the same time.

"I'm making it though." Kyo added before walking to the kitchen.

"I can't cook/ make anything to save anyones life." I explained to Chari's befuddled look as she burst out into a laugh and we went to the dining room.

Trail back to Shigure's- Kagura meets Chari

"So you lived in Kyoto?" Kyo asked.

"That's slightly ironic don't you think?" The girl replied after nodding her answer.

"Ironic how?" Kyo asked again.

"Your name is Kyo, I lived in Kyoto." The girl explained as Kyo chuckled and she laughed. That bitch was laughing with MY Kyo!

"Very nice." Kyo said.

"KYOOOO!! WHO IS THAT GIRRRRL!" I screamed as I noticed Kyo's smile immediatly dropped.

"Get to the side of the trail and stay out of the way!" Kyo barked at the girl who blinked and moved to the side of the road to stay out of the way.

"KYOO!! WHO IS SHEEEE!" I yelled again as I grabbed Kyo by the collar and began to affectionatly throw him around.

"SHE'S JUST A FRIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEND!!" He yelped as I let him go and he flew into a tree. The girl gaped at me and then ran over to Kyo.

"What are you!? Some kind of psychopath!? You could've killed him!" She screamed at me. I could see she hadn't been around him much, that, and I had just seen him yesterday. So I knew she hadn't been around for a while. I was impressed though that she was so kind about this. Most girls wouldn't be so keen on getting between me and Kyo when I'm mad. Somebody grab a crayon. I need to be colored 'Impressed'.

"At least he wouldn't cheat on me then!" I retaliated. THAT looked like the wrong move as her face heated up in anguish.

"He was NOT cheating on you! We're FRIENDS! I'm living at his house with his cousin, another friend, and another one of his cousins because I'm an EXCHANGE STUDENT! He didn't go to school because he crashed through glass last night and wasn't feeling up to it and I am not allowed within school grounds untill prior notice when my papers are in!" She shouted back at me as I gaped. Her hands stopped flailing to annunciate what she said and she rested on her hips in a pissed off fashion as I just blinked. Man I felt stupid. I paused and saw Kyo standing up shakily. I guess that crack I heard wasn't just the tree.

"...I'm sorry." I said. I noticed Kyo's eyes widen as the other girl gave a triumphant smirk as she folded her arms over her chest. Kyo sighed.

"How many times I gotta tell ya? I don't love ya." Kyo said and I could see the girl scowl as the tears clung to my lashes for life.

"Kyo! You could be nicer! She's trying to be affectionate she just doesn't know how to work aruond...violence. And besides! Womens emotions are fragile! You have to treat them like glass...wait...in your case, treat them like..uh...one of Shishou's swords!" The girl explained and I began to laugh behidn my tears. It was rather funny, no one else called Sensei, Shishou, aside from Kyo, but here was this girl, not even related to us, and brand new in town, calling one of our most respected elders: Shishou. A name of affection used by Kyo. Plus, she had pinned Kyo, he did treat Sensei's swords like they would break if they were exposed to the air for to long. The laughing and my tears combined and I got hiccups. The other two began to laugh with me at this and I wiped my tears away as the hiccups kept coming.

"I-I'm Sohma, K-kagura." I introduced and held my hand out as the girl went to grab my hand but a damn powerful hiccup sent me sprawled out on my butt as we aughed some more. She offered her hand to me.

"Antaika, Chari." The girl smiled as she pulled me up onto my feet. She was an inch or so taller than me, standing at about 5' 5" which kind annoyed me to say the least. Anyways, when our laughter had stopped, I glanced at my watch and noticed it was 12:06

"AHH! I'M GONNA BE LATE!! BYE KYO! BYE CHARI!" She screamed as she ran off. They laughed, waving me off as I left and continued heading back to Shigure's.

"I like your family, they're way more amusing than mine. COMPLIMENT!" Chari screamed as I noticed Kyo's fist raised and Chari ducking out of the corner of my eye as I chuckled while running back to the bus stop to get back to the college before my next class.

Shigure's Kitchen- Ayame meets Chari

"What a wooooonderful day!" I sang as I waltzed into the room. A young lady of the same age as Kyo, if not a bit older, giggled.

"Good Morning sir." She said politely.

"Oh my, my dear, please! Call me Ayame! Or Aya! Either one works fine. I am the great, and magnificent, Sohma, Ayame." I said, bowing down to the young lady and scooping up her hand to plant a sweet kiss on her soft skin.

"Pleasure to meet you Sohma-san, I'm Antaika, Chari. The new exchange student." The lady explained.

"...What are you doing here?" We ignored Kyo as we began to get to know eachother, "Ayame," Kept ignoring, oohhh we'd be hearing it soon, "AYAME WHY THE HELL ARE YOU IN OUR GODDAMN FUCKING HOUSE YOU HOMOSEXUAL PAIN IN THE ASS BASTARD!" Kyo yelled in annoyance, we had been ignoring him for a good half an hour or so.

"...I didn't know he could be that loud..." Chari squeaked from behind me as the pretty little flower looked at Kyo in surprise and blinked.

"Honestly?" I asked, surprised myself as Kyo fumed. We were iiiig-nooooor-iiiiing hiiiiim.

"Yeah, I mean, he was being so quiet while I was over. It was kinda eerie." Chari answered as I laughed. Kyo sounded like he had a crush. I was just about to voice this when Kyo kicked me out of the house. Literally.

"WELL! I just HAVE to find Shigure NOW!" I screamed, getting up with some of my gracefully beautiful dignity in tact.

"GO AHEAD AND DO THAT YOU HOMOSEXUAL MORON!" Kyo yelled at me as he stood ready to pumble me in the doorway.

"Well I never!" I yelped as I walked away, "Good Day Chari-chan! I'll see you later! ou just HAVE to meet my assitant Mine sometime!" I called.

"Looking forward to it!" She called back.

"Don't talk to him!" Kyo yelped in indignation

"Why not?"

"Because!"

"Because isn't an answer Kyo!"

"Because I said so!"

"I don't listen to you!"

"You live under my roof!"

"It's not yours it's Shigures!"

"I lived here first!"

"So!?"

"So what I say goes!"

"Who made that rule up!"

"I did!"

"What!?"

"It counts 'cause the rule that says that what I says goes, states exactly that and thus makes it so that everybody has to go with what I say."

"Doesn't count! The rule has to be made first!"

"Counts!"

"Not!"

"Does!"

"Not!"

"Does!"

"NOT!!!"

"DOES!!!" Chari screamed as I laughed boy, I imagine a whole year with these two would be beyond magnificently argumentative.

School- Week Later- Kisa meets Chari (A/N: Hurrah! My fav!)

"Tohru-Neechan!" I yelled happily as I ran to Tohru-neechan but I was caught by Hatsuharu who easily picked me up and spun me around in a circle as I shrieked happily. The new girl that Haru had told me about came out carrying what looked to be about two pounds of papers and laughed at the scene before one of my shoes flew off.

"AIEE!" The girl shrieked as the papers scattered into the air and she flew backwards. Kyo, Yuki, Tohru, Momiji, and even Hiro chipped in to gather all of the papers.

"Ah! Gomen! Gomen Onee-chan!" I yelped as Hatsuharu put me down. Whew, I knew I hated when that whole spin-around-till-you-all-puke-thing was over. And there was a reason I called it that as I clutched my stomach and my head started to stop spinning like a crazy person on happy pills.

"Ne, it's alright there little one." The girl answered as I laughed. I hadn't heard someone call me little one in a loooong time. Hiro walked up next to me and looked at the girl who was laughing despite a pretty bloody knee.

"Is there a reason she's laughing?" Hiro asked me as I nodded.

"You'd have to have been there Hiro-chan." I answered as I noted a light blush on his cheeks. Oh yeah, I'd figured that secret out a looooong time ago too. I was just keepin it hush hush. I pulled out my first aid kit. Yup, always prepared.

"Ah, Arigato little one." The girl said as I laughed.

"I'm younger 'Nee-chan, but I'm in High School as well." I answered as she laughed.

"Maybe so but I consider anyone not in my grade, little ones. A Kyoto tradition I suppose." She added as I laughed.

"I'm Sohma, Kisa." I added.

"Antaika, Chari." She introduced as I bandaged her knee with a gauze pad and some medical tape. Kyo and Haru got on either side of her as they helped her hobble along, kind of funny though, since both Kyo-niikun and Haru-niikun are at least 2 inches taller than Chari-neechan and she was limping so they were trying to accomodate that as well. I swear that Hiro laughed at the scene along with all of us.

"Hello Kisa." Tohru added as I hugged Tohru.

"Good Afternoon Tohru-neechan!" I exclaimed in joy as Hiro smiled.

"Afternon Tohru-sempai." He said. It was a step up. At least he stopped calling Tohru-neechan a whench and etc.

"Onward loyal steed!" We heard Chari call out, apparently Kakeru had been bribed into carrying Chari. Mainly with the fact that 'Yun-yun would hang out with him for an hour after school for a week'.

"Yes ma'am!" Kakeru yelled. Plus he got a 'hawt babe on his back' as he said, Chari was laughing as he jogged ahead, bouncing her up and down a bit as she squealed when he made us all (minus himself of course) think that she would fall off. He got her home and I made some tea with Tohru-neechan for us all.

Living Room-Kakeru's Left-Hiro is Introduced to Chari

"Well, I do believe I haven't met this little one." The girl said laughing as I scrunched up my nose at the 'little one' comment, "Tell me your name and I won't have to call you little one then."

"Why should I?" I asked as Haru chuckled.

"Careful, Sempai, he bites." He added, sitting next to the older girl.

"Every Rose," She muttered, looking at an oblivious Kisa, "Has It's Thorn." She added looking me squarely in the eye.

"A quote? Nothing original of your own?" I asked challenging her.

"Oh, I've got quite a few that I could say. But not in the presence of Little Ears." She said annunciating the 'Little' part to grind on my nerves.

"Ohhh! Charizard bites back!" Haru yelled as the girl laughed.

"Who do you think you are?"

"My name is Antaika, Chari."

"Don't change the subject!"

"You asked who I thought I was and I let you know little one."

"STOP CALLING ME THAT!"

"Then tell me your name and I will call you by that."

"Sohma, Hiro, you wench." I noticed her eyebrow twitch. That got her good and mad. Bulls eye.

"Tohru-NeeChan!!" Kisa yelled as Chari's muscle that Haru was leaning on (her shoulder) twitched involuntarily and he moved. Her fist clenched and unclenched, and I swear I heard her joints pop here and there.

"What. Did. You. Just. Call. ME?!" Chari asked, her eyes flaring. I blinked. Holy hell was this scary. I felt like I was staring Black Haru down while he was wet, cold, and burning at the same time.

"I-I-I-" I tried to spit it out, but the snappy come-back withered away.

"Chari!" Kyo yelled as he grabbed the girl by her waist and tried shoving his shoulder into her stomach so that she'd sit down.

"I'm only gonna kill him! It won't hurt!" She screamed above the commotion as I scrambled to get up and hide behind Tohru who had just walked in, "What if I keep it clean!?" I heard Chari scream next. I saw Haru choke on his drink from laughter at this and hearing someone laugh somehow seemed to make Chari a hell of a lot calmer. Her muscles stayed tense but Yuki made a wise crack to get Haru chuckling again and her muscles slowly ceased their struggle against eachother.

"Is it safe?" I managed quietly. Tohru was sweat-dropping as she watched and chuckled while bringing me back into the room.

"I believe you should be alright for now." Tohru answered chuckling. Chari and I actually managed to cool down after that, she only harrassed me a little, and I spat it back in her face. Eventually Haru and Kyo split us up by Haru taking Kisa, Momiji, and I home.

October- Rin meets Chari

We had a family function in October, just before Halloween. Haru said he wanted me to meet his Sempai, I agreed. When I saw her she had an orange knee length skirt on with a black shirt that had only one sleeve (purposefully), while exposing her other shoulder. Her hair had been pulled into a bun with one orange chopstick and a black chopstick to cross each other. Spider earrings hung from her ears and a smaller spider earring was in her nose, on the left side. Her feet were wearing black traditional shoes with intricate designs in orange thread. I was, to say the least, taken aback. I had expected a cool, collected man with a suit on, like Hatori, but here stood a polite woman who looked like she could easily punch Haru through the door. Maybe even Yuki at the same time.

"Oh! Hello!" The girl said greeting me as I stood beside Haru. I tensed at her acknowledgement. She didn't seem bad, no, but here was this girl. The complete opposite of what I had expected, talking to Yuki, Momiji, Haru, and hovering beside Kyo, while greeting me, and the whole time with a smile gracing her lips. I looked to Haru who smiled at me before looking to the woman in front of me who was smiling like a puppet with a frozen face.

"Sempai, this is Isuzu, we all call her Rin though. Rin, this is Sempai Charizard." Haru said laughing.

"It is not Charizard! Sheesh! I mean, if you're gonna introduce someone, at least inform the person of their real name. It's a pleasure to meet you Isuzu-san, I'm Antaika, Chari." The woman said after scolding Haru, and then bouncing back into a perky attitude. It was actually rather scary.

"Uh-uhm...Hello. I'm Sohma, Rin, please, everyone calls me Rin, I'd rather you did as well." I replied.

"Alright! Will do Rin-san."

"No need to be so formal Chari."

"Okay, plain old Rin it is!" She announced, I just had to smile, it was amusing. Akito hadn't been invited so at current, we were all rather relaxed and after about an hour, I had several questions nagging in my head for Chari, that the other boys could NOT hear coming from me. So I tapped Chari on the shoulder to make her aware of my presence behind her and scooped up her hand as she excused herself from the small group she had been tlaking to, consisting of Yuki, Hiro, Kisa, and Hatori, they had been talking about something scientific I think. Anyways, I took her out to the porch outside so that I could give her the 3rd degree.

"Do you know?" I asked.

"About what Rin?" Chari returned, still smiling from the atmosphere of the party.

"About our family." The smile on her face immediatly melted upon hearing and seeing how serious I was.

"Oh...I know a bit, I don't think I completely understand though. And I'd rather not voice my suspicions here."

"...You're smart enough to understand your position."

"And I know the rest of that sentence 'unlike Tohru'. I know you have something against her, but what, I don't understand. And so long as we're trying to be clear- I'd like to try as hard as I can to do the same that she is trying to do."

"It's not that easy."

"I know it's hard, but Rin- You've been looking for so long, and Tohru and I want to help," Here Chari took both of my hands and squeezed them in her own, "So even though you may not like her, perhaps, by working together, we might be able to do something? Rin, it's worth a shot isn't it? For the others to feel love? To be graced by the touch of uncursed women? Don't these men and these women deserve it?" Damn, I swear she's a philosopher, or something close. We talked for a while and before she left, I was cleaning up.

"Hold on Yuki!" I heard her call from outside, "I think I left my cell phone inside!" She walked back in and was looking around, I popped out from under a table.

"I haven't seen a cell phone around here Chari." I told her.

"Oh, I know that, Rin." She said as she showed me her cell phone from inside her purse, she walked back over and knelt down to smile at me, she pulled me into a big hug and I smiled inspite of myself and hugged her back. She understood this as well as Tohru did. She may not have all the details, but she didnt' see the world like cotton candy. She saw it as it was. And stayed where she was despite it. She understood the faults in people and the world and she just wanted to help. This didn't seem as bad as it had before somehow. She left laughing as I made a face at the area and Haru came down, seeing her out before helping me clean.

"Your Sempai is remarkable." I commented to Haru in the silence, and I saw the shocked reaction on his face that soon left, and I smiled in the comfortable silence around us.

November- Ritsu meets Chari

Shigure had asked me to meet a friend at the park so that I could take her back to his house for dinner. I obliged and walked down to the park. A young lady, maybe a Senior in high school, sat on the swings, not really swinging but gently pushing at the ground to stay in constant motion.

I walked over to her, she wore the same outfit as Tohru, for school. Her hair was in two ponytails and she looked immensly sad. The exchange woman could wait to go home for a few more minutes.

"Excuse me, young lady, are you well?" I asked kindly. The young lady must've been in very deep thought as I startled her.

"O-oh! N-no ma'am, I'm fine. I swear, really, thank you for your concern though." She answered with a soft smile.

"My dear, I understand pain. I can see that you have some in your heart. What is the matter?" I asked again, maybe if she thought she was talking to a woman it would help.

"Well...I think I may like one of my friends. But he likes my other friend. I can't blame him though she's really nice. A LOT nicer than me and I think she looks better than me and all. But she doesn't like him the same way and he doesn't know that I like him like that. And then hes got this huge secret that he and his family share and they won't let me in on it, and I don't understand why not because I've proven myself trust-worthy more than once in the past few months. And now I just wanna give it all up and go home, but I can't because my mother and father will be angered and my siblings, disappointed. I just don't know what to do." She whispered as she put her head in her hands.

"Sometimes, it's better to listen to the thoughts and feelings of others before deciding on your own course of actions. But in other occassions it's better to act, before listening. If you listen to your friend, you may discover that these feelings for the other girl are just a school-boy fancy. A crush he can not manage to shake. If you tell him how you feel, he may just feel the same, and if he can not you can still be friends, right? As for the secret, some things belong only within a family with few acceptions. If the family honestly accepts you as one of them, you will have to wait to find out. And as for giving up, hold strong dear. It takes much to cause bamboo to bend. But not much for it to break altogether. However, the bamboo always comes back." I told her. It wasn't great but it made sense. I could tell she understood.

"Thank you ma'am." She said as she looked at the sky while moving as she had before.

"Not a problem, where do you live dear?" I asked her.

"Over on the hill." She answered me.

"Well, why don't I take you there? I have family I'm about to visit, they live right over there as well." I told the younger woman.

"Alright." She agreed as we both stood up from the swings and went to the gates, leaving and heading down the path to Shigures. At the turn, she didn't turn off and when Shigure's came into view she waved back to Tohru.

"Chari! You're home!" Tohru said happily.

"Yup." She answered calmly.

"Oh! Ritsu! Thank you for bringing Chari home for dinner." Tohru thanked me.

"Not a problem at all Tohru." I answered as Chari looked at me incredulously.

"Chari this is Sohma, Ritsu: Ritsu, this is Antaika, Chari." Tohru introduced as we simply stared at each other. Both of us bowed and Chari came back out to talk to me.

"Don't tell." She said hurriedly.

"What?" I asked.

"Dont. Tell. Don't tell them about our conversation." She clarified.

"Oh. Alright, I won't. Just for the record, so you're not completely mortified, I am a man." I answered her, waiting for he rreaction.

"I thought your voice sounded kinda funny." Was the only reaction. I wanted to laugh or cry or something. Nobody had really accepted me THAT fast before. We went inside and had dinner and talked about going to the hot springs in the winter that night.

November-Chari Meets Saki (Hana-chan)

"Surprise." I said with a small smile as Tohru answered the door.

"SAKI-CHAN!" (A/N: For the sake of this fic, she, and Arisa are called by their first names) Tohru cried happily, giving me a hug.

"Hello Tohru, have they been treating you well here?" I asked.

"Of course! The Sohma's are so kind, they even took in an exchange student! She's very very nice, she and Kyo get along exceptionally well.

"OW OW OW!!" I heard the familiar calling of Kyo, "OKAY!! OKAY!! I GET IT!" Tohru brought me inside and then we went to see the commotion in the backyard as a body went flying across the ground. A girl stood with her foot in the air as she slowly put it back on the ground. Her balance never faltering. The girl now stood with her guard off as Kyo got up.

"We're done." She said finishing the fight and bowing respectfully to Kyo. At leas thse knew when to stop, "Hello there." She added as she spotted Tohru and I in the doorway. Kyo tried to attack her from behind but she tucked into a split just before and he was sent flying as I pulled Tohru against the wall and he sailed into the house, "Sorry about that Tohru." She added.

"Who are you?" I demanded.

"Oh, Hello, I'm Antaika, Chari, the exchange student, and you are?"

"Hanajima, Saki." I answered curtly.

"Pleasure to meet you." She added as she bowed.

"Saki-chan was living in Osaka for some time, she and Arisa-chan were there for about four months for a school program." Tohru explained.

"Oh, so you're Hana-chan, correct?" Chari asked as I nodded, "Double pleasure to meet you, I've heard much about you, all good, okay, well, Kyo's had a decent amount of negative comments, but he's Kyo." Chari said as we chuckled. 'Kay, maybe she wasn't as bad as I had thought. I had to leave before dinner but I did manage to see another fight between Kyo and Chari, verbally this time. Chari won that one too.

November- Next Day- Arisa meets Chari

"TOHRU!" I screamed as I entered the house without so much as a knock, a girl managed to block me though, with an umbrella, giving the situation that she was caught in the front room completely off guard however, I'd have to give her points. The Umbrella could deffinetly be used in a fight if needed, "YO!" I shouted in surprise as the toast in the girls mouth hung suspended from her lips.

"Arisa-chan?! AH! CHARI! WHAT'S WRONG!?" Tohru cried out as the other girl started and the umbrella nearly fell out of her hands before she clutched it to her chest and put it in the barrel by the door that held umbrellas and the lot. She bit the toast, chewed it and swallowed it before bowing.

"My apologies, I thought a burgular was entering our house with the knowledge of our occupants." She said as I laughed. I hugged her around her neck to her surprise.

"As long as you're looking out for Tohru and the others, you're okay in my book. I'm Uotani, Arisa." I introduced.

"Antaika, Chari." The girl answered as we shook hands and Tohru laughed.

"Arisa is the girl that went on the school sponsored program with Hanajima, Saki." Tohru explained.

"Ohhhhh! Okay! I was trying to figure out why her name sounded familiar." Chari answered as I smiled.

"Anyways, Tohru, wanna hang out this weekend?" I asked as Chari laughed.

"I'll be in the living room if I'm needed." Chari said as she left. Before leaving I heard the sounds of Chari yelling at someone about something or other. Deffinatly going to be amusing spendding Senior Year with her.

Saki's House- Chari meets Megumi

Saki and Tohru brought a new girl home today. Man, if she tries to hurt Saki I'll kill her. In that case, I should learn her name.

"Good afternoon Megumi!" Tohru called as I smiled.

"Afternoon Tohru." I answered as the other girl stayed outside on the doorstep. It was raining...I officially dubbed her insane.

"Why aren't you coming in Chari?" Saki asked.

"You haven't invited me in." The girl on the doorstep answered laughing nervously, "I was just taught at an early age to wait to be invited in before coming in."

"Oh! Then come in please." Saki said in slight surprise. Can't blame her, we haven't really met anyone that strict on their manners before, "Chari, this is my little brother Megumi, Megumi this is Chari."

"Hello." I replied bluntly as Chari bowed. Last name. NOW. I needed that last name.

"Don't tell him your last name Chari." Saki added and I just about fell. Damn, my sister really knew me.

"...You suck Saki." I told her as she smirked.

"So who wants snacks?" Saki asked as she vanished into the kitchen. Tohru followed after while Chari got her shoes and socks off and pulled a pair of dry indoor sandals out of her bag, pulling them on and setting her bag by the door she stood up.

"I heard about your powers. and just so you know, I think it's really sweet that you care about your sister so much. Names Antaika." She added as she vanished into the kitchen as well. All I could do was blink. That girl had known what my powers are, knew I could do major damage to her with the knowledge of her name, send her to the hospital or even put her in a grave with a still heart. But she trust me to know her name...like Tohru had after a while. But this girl had trusted me immediatly. Okay, I'll give her a few chances. I'll be nice enough. This time.

Main House Hallway- Kureno meets Chari

"Chari, Kureno will take you to Akito." Hatori informed the girl who was about to meet Akito as I came in. She looked up wiping away at the tears that were dripping down her face as she took deep calming breaths.

"Come with me." I told her as she shook her head no.

"I'm staying here." She said to Hatori and I.

"Akito will be angered." Hatori told her.

"I DON'T CARE! I'M STAYING HERE!" She shouted as the tears poured out of her eyes again, she growled in frustration as she wiped them away.

"Chari, go." Hatori ordered her, "I'll look after Kyo."

"NO!"

"If Haru goes with you?"

"NO!"

"Rin?"

"NO!"

"Momiji?"

"I SAID NO DAMMIT! NO MEANS NO!"

"All of them?"

"WHAT PART OF NO DON'T YOU GET HATORI! YOU'RE THE DOCTOR AROUND! HERE! YOU SHOULD KNOW THE SIMPLEST WORD SHOULDN'T YOU!?"

"Haru please help Kureno take Chari to see Akito." Hatori said as Haru stood up. He looked tired. and Rin seemed slightly frightened by the reaction of the girl.

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME HATSUHARU!" She screamed as Haru picked her up around her waist and put her under his arm. She kicked at him, "LET GO!!"

"Shut up or I'll throw you into the wall." Haru threatened as his voice wavered on a thin line between White Haru and Black Haru.

"..." The only sound that remained were the small sobs coming from the girl.

"You gonna walk?"

"Yes." She choked out.

"Fine." Haru set her on the ground and grabbed her arm just above her elbow to stand beside me as we all fell into synch and walked to The Room.

"I am Sohma, Kureno." I finally said on our way there.

"A-antaika, Ch-ch-a-ari." The girl stuttered out between her sobs and gasps for breath. Haru and I could tell that she was frustrated with her tears as she furiously wiped them away and looked behind her at Kyo's hospital room again. The heart monitor continued to beep and it echoed in our ears. Haru would have come either way. He had sworn not to let Tohru or Chari be harmed by Akito. Not like Kyo. Not like any of the Sohmas.

"Haru?" Chari asked quietly.

"I'm coming, don't worry." He answered as she nodded and put her head against his arm, taking deep breaths, her eyes opened and she smiled.

"You stole Kyo's cologne." She said laughing as Haru smiled.

"Yeah, I thought you might find that comforting." He replied as she nodded and burried her head into his arm continuing to walk beside him at the same time. I smiled and gave Haru a quick squeeze on the shoulder. He looked to me as I nodded. He was paying attention to these girls as if they were his real sisters. It was good for all of them, obviously. It had been almost two months since his Black side had come out, other than over at the other room.

"Here we are." I stated as we stood in front of the door. Chari took a deep breath and Haru squeezed her shoulders in a sort-of hug against his side. Deep breaths kids, Deep breaths. And I opened the door and stepped in behind them to watch their fate unfold.

"Thank you Kureno-sama." Chari added as she heard the door close and our eyes adjusted to the darkness of the room.

The Room- Akito meets Chari (to his displeasure)

"Is this the bitch?" I asked as they stepped into the room. The girl flexed her hands as she saw me and Haru stood beside her gripping her shoulder in warning while Kureno walked behind me to watch. He's the only good one. He listens to me. Unlike these ungrateful little assholes.

"Hello Akito-san." I heard both Haru and Kureno take in breaths. Not sama, but san, san was less respect than Sama. I DEMANDED this bitch call me sama.

"I am not low on your respect demands young lady, you will refer to me as Sama."

"I will not." Was the bold response.

"You are Antaika, Chari, correct?" I asked, I was PISSED.

"What if I am?"

"Chari, stop. This is dangerous." Haru whispered.

"What's so dangerous? He can kill me? I'll kill him FIRST." Chari growled.

"You'll eat those words you little bitch!" I shouted as I lunged at her. She let out a small cry as we went down, my nails flashed across her skin, the soft flesh peeling away as she cried out.Her foot connected with my kidney and I rolled off of her coughing. I had no clue where I hit her or in what position she was in but I'd kill her, some way, somehow.

"CHARI! STOP! AKITO STOP!" Haru shouted. I didn't care, he did not tell me what to do, I told him what to do!

"Don't tell me what to do! I'll kill you two! We could alwasy get a new Ox!"

"Akito calm down." Kureno said.

"You two! We can get a new Rooster! I swear that we will! I'll kill you both!"

"SHUT UP!" Chari screamed as a kick landed across my throat causing me to choke and cough. I tried to talk but I couldn't from the force of a kick.

"CHARI!" Haru yelled in surprise.

"YOU CAN'T CONTROL PEOPLE! THEY'RE NOT DOLLS! YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT TO BE YOUR OWN PERSON! THAT'S THE RULE OF THE UNIVERSE! I'M NOT A HEAD OF ANYTHING! I'M A REGULAR PERSON! BUT I UNDERSTAND THAT! AND IF YOU PLAN ON BEING A HUMAN AND LIVING YOU MIGHT AS WELL LEARN THAT AS WELL!" Chari screamed at me as I coughed some more, she leveled down to me and pulled my hair back, "You can threaten. You can punch. You can kick. You can bite. You can abuse. All. You. Want. But I will not break. And so that you know, I will stick my ground. You can't make me fall." She growled as her lips came down and grazed against my ear at her next sentence, "And I'll never let Hatori erase my memories of these people." She whispered as she yanked her hand away and my head fell.

"I-I'll k-ki-kill you." I spat out.

"You can try. But I will kill you first Akito."

"Y-you c-can n-no-not u-use famil-familiarities, wi-with me!" I shouted before coughing again.

"I just did." Chari growled back before leaving.

Kyo wakes up from a 3 week Comatose

"KYO!" Chari screamed.

"Careful!" I shouted as Chari hugged around my head and I blinked before listening for the poof.

"Wh-what the?"

"It's a surprise for the others." Chari replied, "We gave you the antidote first, to see if it might help with the coma. It did! It works! there won't be any curse, no more! You're free!" Chari answered as tears brimmed up in her eyes and I blinked again.

"S-so there...we can...I mean.."

"YES! YES KYO! YOU CAN HUG! YOU CAN TAKE OFF YOUR BRACELET!" Chari exclaimed as she buried her face into my neck. Something that felt like gauze grazed against my jaw as she did this and I pulled her back up to face me. She had strategically positioned her face to avoid me seeing it, but had forgotten about me being able to feel.

"Akito?" I asked as she looked a the floor.

"Akito." She answered. Three long scratches ran from her forehead, across her eye, and to her ear on the right, with four other scratches running from her lip down her throat in the middle.

"Does it hurt anymore?"

"Not really."

"Is he still alive?"

"...no..."

"What happened?"

"I...I think I..."

"Chari, it wasn't you, I promise you that, he was dying soon anyways. Who's the new head?" Here her face brightened.

"Wait here." She added.

"Oh like I can leave by choice." I responded pointing to the IV tubes.

"You know what I mean you little brat." I smiled at that as she left.

"HEAD-SAMA! HEAD-SAMA!!" She screamed. Man, she wasn't even giving up at that point. She was gonna make me wait to see.

"Yes?" A familiar voice asked.

"Kyo wants to see you!" Chari's peppy voice said.

"Alright." He answered. Male. Wait...it was-

"SHISHOU!" I shouted as Kazuma-sensei came in smiling.

"How are you Kyo?" He asked. I gaped. Can't blame me I mean, the man who was like my father was the new head of the family.

"Jeeeeeez." I mumbled as I put my hand over my eyes and smiled, "I'm fine, and you Shishou?"

"There have been better days." He answered as Chari's weight sank the bed down lightly. Not by much though, I could just tell her weight from Shishou, it wasn't hard.

"Better days will come." Chari answered the unspoken question as she poked my stomach making me squirm.

"Do you mind?"

"Nope." She answered with a childish grin as she gave me a kiss on the lips and I blushed. RIGHT infront of Shishou, I'd clock her one if she wasn't so damn cute, "See ya on Monday." She added when she got to the door.

"What?" I asked.

"You have to stay here for a week." She added.

"I'm going home tomorrow." I answered.

"I know."

"I'll see you there then."

"I have to go to Kyoto for the week."

"Why?"

"Family matters. I'll be back on Monday."

"Call?"

"I will."

"Take care."

"You two, oh, no fights with Yuki for the week."

"Damn..." We laughed and Shishou smiled as he left with Chari.

Graduation

"Kyo? You okay?" Tohru asked.

"I'm fine." Kyo answered as he walked behing her.

"Hi Kyo." Kagura said calmly.

"Hey." Kyo answered.

"Depressed?" Haru asked.

"He's been." Yuki answered.

"Why?" I asked as I watched everyone spin around to see me. I was wearing a black dress to my mid-shins and a pair of strappy heels were strapped around my ankles, my hair was up in a small twist underneath a black hat that had a white ribbon around it. Black sunglasses decorated my eyes and a pair of dangly earrings that had orange cats on them were the only real color.

"Ch-chari?" Kyo asked as I looked up.

"Do you know any other?" I asked as Kyo smiled I suddenly found myself in his arms with my hat flying off and my lips swept up into a deeps kiss that begged for more, so I accepted his tongue within my mouth and they seemed to dance across eachother, my arms wrapped around his neck and his arms encircled my waist as we parted to breath and Haru and Momiji gave some cat calls.

"Shut up you two." Kyo and I scolded them.

"You didn't answer me." I said.

"Huh?"

"Why were you depressed?"

"...you weren't here. You said Monday. It's been 6 months."

"Kyoto called. I apparently don't have call-waiting."

"You're annoying."

"I'm only annoying because you wish I was easy to understand."

"...no, you're annoying."

"Same reason."

"Oh shut up."

"Never not in a million years! I sha-" Another passionate kiss flickered between us, "Kay...that might work." I said slightly dazed.

"I thought it would." Kyo answered.

"Graduates please report to the stage!" The principal called out.

"Git you, you gotta catch up to me and graduate." I said as I smacked his butt to get him going and he gave a light yelp of complaint and gave me a look that said 'you're still annoying' and I blew him a kiss before he turned around. I sat with Shishou as we watched the school's seniors graduate.

"College- HERE WE COME!" Tohru. Yuki, Kyo, Arisa, Saki, and I shouted happily as I laughed. Hey, I graduated a week ago, but I could still join in, in their celebration.

Who knew, this year I might just go to Kyo's school. For the whole year this time.
