Chapter I: Shadow Stranger

A blonde hair kid was walking down the streets of Konoha, the wind blowing the leaves on the ground and the moon lighting up the street. His whirlpools of blue eyes glistened in the light as he stopped and looked at the sky. "Where are you….Sasuke?"

Naruto is 15 now and is still a genin since he was away for two years. He started to walk down the streets again and he kicked a pebble. It has been quite around Konoha now, but Naruto was tired every day. He stayed up during the nights, not able to go to sleep for some reason. Without paying attention to where he was going, he bumped into a pink haired girl.

"Watch where you're going you- Oh Naruto….How are you?"

Naruto noticed that it was Sakura that he bumped into and he managed to smile. "I'm fine…Thanks Sakura-chan…"

Naruto kept on walking until he walked where he wanted to be…Ichikaru Ramen. He walked inside and sat down. "I will take the regular old man!" He was always cheerful when he comes into the ramen shop.

The old man smiled and made his order.

Naruto's smile then faded away as he began to think. "Me, Sakura, and the whole village are worried about you…"

The old man then sat Naruto's order down in front of him. "There you go Naruto. Enjoy."

Naruto grabbed a pair of chopsticks and started to eat his ramen.

After a good hour, Naruto paid for his bill and decided to let his feet carry him to where they wanted to go. He noticed that he ended up where the training ground was when he became a genin. Naruto gently placed his hand on the pole that he was tied to and smiled a little as all the good memories flashed before him. "Learned the meaning of team work and where Team 7 became genin…"

Naruto's hand slipped off of the pole and then he felt a familiar chakra presence. He got out his kunai and turned around. "Who's there!?"

"Why are you so tense dobe? I see that you haven't changed…"

To be continued….
