Raining Acid
Hao sat outside the house, under the safety of a roof, sheltering him from the rain. Suddenly Hao felt a weight upon his shoulders, Hao looked up to see Yoh grinning at him. "Hey Yoh." Hao said as Yoh sat next to him, then leaned on his shoulder.
"Watching the rain, nii-san?" Asked the younger of the two,
"Don't you mean the acid rain?" Corrected Hao, Yoh looked at his lover puzzled.
"Isn't that water? Not acid?"
"No Yoh, its acid. Humans made this." Hao said sticking his hand out, letting the rain fall on his bare skin.
"Humans? Nii-san the rain hasn't melted anything."
"Not that we can see Yoh." Replied Hao,
"Did humans really create the acid?"
"Yes Yoh. It's another way that humans are destroying nature." Yoh looked at Hao,
"But Nii-san, the humans are trying to fix their mistakes, I know they are. Even if some of them aren't aware of it."
"Why are there no changes?!" Hao nearly yelled,
"Nii-san, it takes time, you should know that."
Suddenly Hao pinned Yoh to the ground. "Nii-san?!"
"Yoh, never compare me to humans!" Hao said with hidden fury.
"Nii-san, were human too."
"Yoh you-"
"Humans may not see spirits but they recognize their own mistakes." Hao sighed and fell on top of Yoh, resting his head in the crook of his brothers neck. There was no point in arguing with Yoh, if he was going to be that persistent. "Nii-san . . . " Breathed Yoh, embracing Hao,
"Yoh, do you hate me for my motives?" Hao whispered.
"Yes." Hao pulled Yoh closer to him, "thank you for being honest, Yoh."
"Nii-san, anyone who can see spirits, is good. That's what I believe." Yoh whispered into Hao's ear.
"Yoh."
Hao blushed, as he moved towards Yoh's lips, kissing him passionately and bitterly. Yoh responded in the same way, deepening the kiss. Parting for air, Hao whispered back to his other half. "Yoh, though you hate what I believe, will you hate me? Or will you still love me? Until the sky stops raining acid?" Yoh responded with another kiss, "nii-san, I'll love you; I'll love you forever, even if the acid doesn't fall, even if it rains blood."
"I'll hate you. And I'll love you forever."
Before Hao could say anything, Yoh pressed his lips against Hao's once more.
A/N: After reading it again after writing it in August( and I post this in Novemeber) XD I realized that the global warming issue really would affect Hao. I'm glad I wrote this fic after all. Though, I'm still not used to writing shounan-ai, and never will be (laughs). If they're is any spelling/grammar mistakes please let me know! Review kudasai(please)!
