Happy endings only happen to princesses in fairy-tales. Davina assumed that for once in her life she'd finally have that life. To be the Princess that gets the Prince at the end. Both riding off into the sunset. How terribly wrong was she. Death came knocking at their door robbing her of the one thing that made sense in her life.

Her Prince wasn't a Prince he was the Huntsman. That always tricked and slipped away. But he was enticed by the little Harvest girl and there was where he met his end. The huntsman became the prey. Thanks to her need to protect her friends she lost the chance to be happy with him. He was cursed by the villain that came in the form of his brother.

He didn't tell her… To protect her… She was a fool to think that love was within her reach. He was snatched from her. Her body feels completely numb. Tears don't seem to stop. On her knees, holding on tight to her love's hand she sobs. His blue eyes looking at her. Pleading…

She was the last thing that he saw. The image of her weeping over him in despair. The night, as starless as it is was the night that her broke because his speech. He implied that she was his star… His sunshine…

Refusing to part from him; she uses her powers to keep his siblings from separating them. She knows they are mourning him as well. But it's her that healed him… that opened his heart… She's the blame to his misfortune.

Flashback,

'Look up at the sky,' He once whispered to her. 'You see the stars?'

'Yes.. What about them?' she replies as his hand encases her's.

'How many do you see?' He squeezes her hand.

'A lot.'

'Well, every time you look up and see all those stars that twinkle and dance. It's me telling you-No showing you how much I love you.'

'You love me that much?'

'Don't look so surprised, Love.' He twirls her around so he can face her. Her blue eyes shining with unshed tears. 'I wouldn't joke about this.'

She jumps up and kisses and whispers those three little words he longed to hear. The kiss deepens and she is willing to give herself to him. He pulls all the stops and kisses her forehead. In his embrace she feels safe and sound.

'Please, let this be an Endless night.' She whispers into his chest. They sway to the music that is playing not too far from them.

Flashback ends.

Elijah managed to pull her away with the help of Klaus. Both brothers vowing to see Finn's head on a silver platter. Their little brother robbed once again of his life. Just when tables were turning and for that they'll have blood. Rebekah is then engulfed by Davina who sobs into the older witches arms. Both girls weep as Elijah and Klaus carefully pick Kol up.

As they step out of the Mausoleum, Davina's swollen eyes look up at the starless night. Instead of being greeted by a blanket of darkness billions of twinkling stars dance. A sob escapes her lips. She'll ever get her happy ending with Kol... Her one and only soulmate...

Sooo, after watching this last Episode i was in tears... I was literally bawling my eyes out to the point that i started to laugh and my sister was laughing at me... After i recovered i kinda went to my bedroom and curled up into a ball and Stared into space Shell shock. My heart still aches... I may need a few days to recover... This oneshot was inspired by the song 'Endless Night' By Cynthia. -JasZ
