So .. I haven't been writing lately. Curse writer's block. Anywho, this story is for a dear friend, requested by her. c: I know.. I took too long with this story, but only recently I came up with ideas. OTL Sorry.

Anyways, moving on, hope you enjoy the story, as much as it may suck! :D Reviews and comments are appreciated!

Sitting in the corner of the empty classroom, you ate your lunch quietly by yourself. You took a small bite of your sandwich, chewing on it slowly while ignoring all the commotion and excitement from outside the classroom. You'd rather keep yourself in isolation, away from the other students. Usually, you would find yourself happily enjoying yourself outside, and of course, eating with your friends.

But it was one of those days. Those god damn days.

Taking a deep sigh, you really hated this day. Let's just say you were.. moody. Mood swings, if you got the gist. Everything seemed to piss you off, and the unfortunate Yamamoto had earlier faced your wrath when his usual self made his jokes, when you, obviously were not in the mood to hear it.

Honestly, you felt bad for what had happened. You and him were best friends for who knows how long. You two had also stuck around together all throughout your schooling years. It was almost like you two were never separated, and, although you kept this to yourself, near the beginning of your 2nd year, you.. actually fell for him, for whatever reason, it was unknown to you. But you thought that you probably wouldn't have any chance with him. After all, he was popular. He had many fangirls. How could you compete? He probably wouldn't look at you the same after that incident too.

Slumping back onto the wall and pulling your knees toward you, you rested you head into your knees, you didn't know what to do anymore. You just wanted to avoid everyone. Nothing would make you get out of this mood. This damn mood. If mood swings were personified, you swear you'd kill them once and for all, and then could they leave you alone.

Suddenly, you heard a soft creak, coming from the classroom door. Moving your head to peep slightly at the door, you saw that it was Yamamoto. Oh great. You hid your head again, pretending that you didn't notice him coming in.

Coming close, the raven haired boy sat himself beside you with watchful eyes.

"Hey, (y/n)."

"..."

You didn't respond, but he knew you well enough that you were just pretending that he wasn't there. Nevertheless, he continued on to what he wanted to say.

"You're feeling bad about that incident.. right?"

Your lifted your head, glowering at him, but he continued to look at your face, no matter how.. scary it looked. It wasn't long before you puffed you cheeks slightly and turned away from him.

"Sorry.." you muttered.

"Haha, what's with that look, (y/n)? It's fine, really!" he laughed.

He turned your face to look at him, and you merely pouted, eyes focusing at anything but him.

"Now, cheer up, (y/n)!" Yamamoto grinned while pushing a stray strand of your hair behind your ear. "You look more beautiful when you're happy."

Hearing this, a small pink colouring dusted across your cheeks. Reluctantly, your eyes moved to face him, meeting the wide smile spread across his face. He was always too forgiving, wasn't he? But then, the funny thing was, you found yourself smiling slightly back at him.

Glad to see your slight smile, he pulled you into a tight hug, reassuring you that the incident was long forgiven. And that was when you remembered; there was something that could cheer you up, and get you out of your bad moods.

Ah, so that must be why you love him. His smile.
