Love of the Sun and Moon
Kazkis and Senex
Sun and Moon
Moonlight and Sunlight
As one rises, the other sets
Ever chasing one another,
Never sharing the same sky.
Once in a great while they may
Catch a glimpse of the other half of their soul,
Dipping beneath the horizon,
Only to rise again in the east.
And so it continues,
the moon forever waxing and waning,
The sun forever rising and setting.
As the sun shines precious light on the world,
The moon reflects it back,
Letting him know that she is still here with him.
The sun always waits for that light;
His light, her moonlight,
To come back to him.
Allowing him to know that her heart yearns
For him just as much as his does for her.
Someday, he whispers to her across the great expanse,
When Death comes for them,
A blue sky appears,
And the Creators return to their lost paradise,
They shall be together in the same sky,
Basking in the light of their love.
I thought Senex and Kazkis deserved a little loving of their own and so I gave them a poem that I thought does justice to their love. I wrote it a while ago and finally decided to post it. I hope you enjoy reading it. Please review.
