Title: Levels
Fandom/characters: Naruto/Shikamaru, Temari

Warnings/notes: The slightest of implements. Broken writing style that I rather enjoyed doing.

See, someone told Naruto, who told Kiba, who was loud enough for Chouji to overhear, and he brought it up to Ino, and then everyone knew, since the girl didn't know how to keep her mouth shut.
They all heard word of a couple made of people from two different villages, where the guy was actually younger, though thankfully had grown taller over the years, so he wasnt at a complete disadvantage. Murmurs of how opposites attract were everywhere, but they're too different to be on the same plane; how had they even seen each other long enough to hook up?
There was rumor of this couple not caring what everyone else thought, now out on their own level of genius and bickers. Wonders of if the story about them sneaking kisses and maybe something else behind the schoolhouse--is it true or did Ino exaggerate again?
And they listen to what everyone says, Shikamaru smirking up at the clouds, and Temari kicking at his side for him to get up and do something with his life, too on their own, a different plane, a different level, to care about anything else.
