The story takes place after Episode 25 or 26 (where Riki was very injured and had to save the rest from the orbs they were locked in)
I noticed there were a very few Turboranger fanfics and no Riki/Haruna stories. So I decided to make one. Enjoy! Read and Review!
Much Better
Riki was sitting in the living room sofa when Haruna entered. He gave her a small smile and patted the sofa so she could sit beside him. As Haruna made her way to the sofa, Riki was very amazed at the simplicity and beauty of the lone female ranger on their team. He never thought of her as a tomboy because she always hung out with the guys, or that she could fight Bomas like the rest of the team.
Rather, he always admired her intellect and perseverance. Riki, although he does not show it that much, has a crush on Haruna. He could not tell the boys because they, especially Yohei, would tease them non-stop. He was also afraid because he does not know if the Pink ranger likes him back.
Smiling at Riki as Haruna sat down, she asked him something. "How are you feeling?" The Red ranger gave a small smile and said "My body still hurts a little bit, but I feel better now. Thanks for asking Haruna."
"You're welcome Riki. But we should be the one thanking you, you know, for saving us earlier." Haruna replied.
"Nah. Don't worry about it. We are teammates after all, and you guys are my friends". But I want to be so much more than a friend to you Haruna, he thought.
"I have wanted to ask you something Riki"
"What's that?"
"How would you feel if I did this?" And the Pink ranger leaned in to kiss Riki softly on the lips. She pulled away quickly, and her face very red.
Riki was shocked he could even barely move. He barely noticed the Pink ranger get up from the couch. His trance broke when he heard Haruna say, "I'm sorry. I really should not have done that. I better go. Goodnight Riki."
Pulling her arm to stop her, Riki made Haruna face him. "You have no idea how much I wanted to do that. I never thought you'd make the first move."
"Well, Riki Honoo, you can be very slow sometimes." Haruna said with a smile forming from her lips. "And you still haven't answered my question".
"I told you awhile ago that I am feeling better. But after you did that, I am feeling much better." Riki said while pulling Haruna for their second kiss.
As Riki made his way to his bedroom, all of his previous body aches caused by Yamimaru disappeared. All he could think about is how Haruna made him feel better. Much better.
