Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto. A/N: If anybody is interested, there is a sequel.
When Haruno Sakura finally got married, it was to the last person anyone would have expected. When the identity of the groom was revealed, Naruto quite literally snorted his ramen in shock. The wedding was set in June, and held outside beneath the Hokage Monument. The decorations were lovely, the food delicious, and the bride, obviously, utterly radiant.
Kakashi, disturbingly enough, actually arrived on time to the glorious event. He was immediately subjected to an intensive identity check. After it was determined that he was, in fact, himself, the Copy-Nin was granted a front row seat. Naruto, glowering menacingly, was positioned to his right. To the left sat Sasuke, utterly expressionless. The officiating priest stood before the altar, smiling benignly at the young couple standing before him as he finished speaking the vows.
"… take Haruno Sakura to be your lawful wedded wife, to have and to hold, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health; to love and to cherish, from this day forward; until death do you part?"
Konohamaru smiled as he slid the ring onto Sakura's finger.
"I do."
