Chapter 1
Ahsoka awoke suddenly drenched in sweat. This was the third night this week that she had had this dream. The dream of him. The last few years Ahsoka had been able to hide and suppress her feeling for Rex but now they seemed to be overcoming her and she couldn't help but day dream in the middle of important meetings. On several occasions she had caught herself staring. Ahsoka decided to meditate to try to calm her mind. However just as she was once again drifting off into sleep the ship shook and she was suddenly up on her feet trying to figure out what had happened. Suddenly Rex burst through the door.
"Commander we're under attack General Skywalker requests you on the bridge"
Ashoka could just barely muster a ok before he was gone. She hurriedly got dressed in her standard attire, and rushed to the bridge.
Once Ahsoka arrived on the bridge her master greeted her and rex smiled at her saying
"It's great to see you commander"
Ahsoka couldn't help but pour over every word trying to find the smallest hint that he might share her feelings. However it was all abruptly ended when the admiral began speaking.
"I'm afraid they've disabled the hyperdrive and they have launched several boarding parties. It appears General Grievous is leading this assault with the aid of Asajj Ventress. From what we can tell they will be boarding on opposite sides of the ships likely to spread out our forces to make it easier for them to defeat us."
Her master spoke saying
"Well if they want a fight then we should give it to them, Rex and Ahsoka you two will engage Ventress here."
Ahsoka looked at the holo map and acknowledged she understood but deep down she was more excited about being near Rex. As her master continued to discuss his plans suddenly the ship shook again.
The admiral exclaimed suddenly
"They've boarded us quicker than we expected everyone to your battle stations quickly!"
With this Ahsoka signaled Rex and her squad to follow her and together they rushed off to meet Ventress.
