Should I be doing another story even though I have tons of shit to do? Probably not, but this is pretty much a story for me to relieve stress so shhhhh…..
Since the Pete's Dragon second 2016 trailer came out, it was around the time Bendu was first introduced. Now I never put those two together until Pete's Dragon came out and Holocron's of Fate came out I had the weirdest idea come to mind. What if a little girl had been left alone on Atollon years before Chopper Base, and just became friends with the Bendu.
I fell in love with Bendu right out of the Season 3 trailer. His design is just so… there is a mystical air to him and in the first few episodes he seemed level headed and more mystical then ever. But after Kanan and Ezra go through the tunnels together and Bendu reacts with a smile, I knew he was more. He was kind and if someone in the show knew him well, they could show that side of him more.
It couldn't be someone at equals with him. Someone young, curious, wanting to learn about the world she was left behind in. The person would have to be vulnerable to the environment of Atollon, and Bendu would have to be there to help protect her and guide her. And so I introduce Nitza. Hebrew for flower bud, for reasons.
Bendu and Nitza's story take place before and after Chopper Base is established. It's just a series of drabbles, possible story line, but more on character exploration. So yeah, we'll get to see our Rebels soon enough.
