Maya's POV:

"Hey, Cam." I said to him over FaceTime. Cam is my boyfriend and we've been dating for over a year. He goes to Degrassi in Toronto and I've been going to a high school near my house. I miss him a lot, but I couldn't wait for two weeks to get here. Campbell Saunders is the newest member of the Toronto Ice hounds hockey team at Degrassi community school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He's only 16 and already drafted for the NHL. He's a really good hockey player and I'm lucky to be his girlfriend. He originally lived in Kapuskasing, but then moved to Degrassi.

I miss my sister, Katie, who lives in Toronto. She's getting ready for college soon. She moved out of the house from here to Toronto and now she's going to Stanford.

"Maya, are you okay?" He asked me as I faked a smile. "I'm fine, Cam." He smiled back as I asked how he liked in at Degrassi. I was laying down on my bed with my phone in my hands. My legs were crossed and I had a blanket over me. "It's fine, but I miss you." I smiled. From what I've heard, Degrassi has drama every day. Everything from fights and murder to gangs, suicides, and school shootings. I was worried about him since he left, but I see that he's doing fine. It doesn't make me worry any less. I don't want to get a call one day saying that my boyfriend has died because of a fight or something.

"I miss you too." He smiled, but I could tell that his eyes were sad. I couldn't wait to see him in 2 weeks. We chatted until he said that he had to go due to hockey practice, but wanted to talk to me between classes and hockey. I smiled and hung up.

Cam is the only boyfriend I've had and I can't wait to see him again.

"Maya," my mom called."can you come here for a minute?" She asked as I yelled back that I was coming. I threw the covers off me and got up, locked my phone and laid it on my bed before walking out of my bedroom and into the kitchen. Mom was sitting on the couch with a cup in front of her on the coffee table.

"Maya, I have great news." She looked at me smiling, while I was excited and confused. "Instead of going to Toronto in 2 weeks, it will be in one week." I smiled and was so excited.

"There is another surprise, but that will come later." She smiled as I went up to my room and started packing. I was so excited. I wasn't going to tell Cam, because I wanted it to be a surprise.

I have a good feeling about this. One more week and then I'm visiting Cam. I thought and smiled at the idea of seeing my boyfriend again.

*************one week later**************

Today was the day. I was finally going to see Cam again and I couldn't get the smile off my face at all. It felt like to was taking forever to leave. I woke up at 8 in the morning so I could get ready. I showered, got in my best outfit of black skinny jeans, a cute blue tank top and a black sweater with silver high heels. I quickly did my makeup and after an hour we got everything loaded in the car and drove off.

"Are you excited?" I nodded and smiled the whole time I was awake. After awhile, I feel asleep. All of my dreams had Cam in them. I woke up when my mom said that we were three hours away.

I have a good feeling about this.
