"Leon—" Gibbs was pleased to see Director Vance stiffen, but he didn't back down. "Leon, there's chatter about some area-51-like stuff. Time travelers. Have you heard?"

"I gave up Star Wars and comic books long ago, Gibbs," said Vance shortly. "I haven't heard anything about Area 51, and neither have you. Your new team is here. Come meet them."

It was Gibbs' turn to wince. He certainly didn't want a new team; he wanted the old one back. And fast.

All three newcomers were men, and Gibbs had the odd feeling that he'd seen them somewhere.

"They have, er, Navy connections," said Vance. "More than that I can't tell you. Special Agent Gibbs, meet Commander Will Riker."

Riker was the most normal-looking of the three. Handsome and bearded, he smiled. "Pleased to meet you, Agent Gibbs." Before Gibbs could shake his hand, Riker had turned his head to ogle two passing female agents.

"And this is Lt. Commander Data…"

The slick-haired man had yellowish eyes and an incredibly sallow complexion, as if he hadn't encountered the sun since he was a toddler. "A pleasure and an honor to meet you, Agent Gibbs. Did you know that your computer systems are woefully inadequate? I can do something about that…"

"And finally, Lt. Worf."

The third man wore a hoodie that left his face in shadow. "I am glad to be here in this joyous time of strife! The bloodlust makes a warrior's heart sing!"

A womanizer, a walking computer, and a barely-contained savage—How can I ever make a team out of that?? Gibbs grabbed Vance by the collar. "Get me the team I put together now, Leon!"

Vance brushed him away. Gibbs took a step back, pointed at him, and shouted, "Look! He's a Romulan in disguise! Get him!!"

And that was the end of Leon (the possible Romulan) Vance.
