Breaking of the Dawn
As I sit and watch
The breaking of the dawn
Wondrous colours adorn the sky
Tears start to fill my eyes
For I know my time
Is slowly winding down
There are so many words
Yet unspoken to you
And so many things
To do with you
As the fear of dying
Takes a hold of me
You come to my side with
A warm gentle smile
And you wrap your arms around me
The fear ebbs away
As the hands of time
Come to a halt
The two of sit peacefully
Bathed in the morning light
Together forever
I wrote this poem after I saw the ending of the Chronro Crusade anime
