Friends Forever

Friends poems. This doesn't have anything do to with specifically Storm Hawks, but I already had the category there and there's no category for just plain writing. Writing poetry comes naturally to me oddly enough. Anyway, here you go.

Best friends

The first time we met I knew we'd be best friends

We always had the same trends

We borrowed each other's pens

And whenever we fought we would make amends

I used to be a lonely person that wore thongs

And for breakfast I would eat egg foo yong

I thought I'd never have any friends since my middle finger was just too long

But then you came along

You took me in as if I were your sibling

You told me there was nothing wrong with me and so I was happily singing

We ran in the park and in the meadows we were skipping

We looped arms and went Wizard of Ozing

We always thought of each other

We never let our friendship smother

We took care of one another

We are brothers and sisters undercover

Now we're as best as friends that can ever be

Well, I think we're closer like two pods in a pea

No wait I didn't mean that, I'm sorry

But we're still close like a dog's coat and a flea

What's more is that we're tighter than a fat man in a Speedo

We love each other more than an architect loves Home Depot

together we shine brighter than an angel and its halo

Our care for each other is more intense than two Japanese guys fighting in a sumo

Now join me and sing "Hallelujah!"

Praise the Lord for bringing us here togetha'

And nothing's gonna shake us, not even earthquake weatha'

We'll always be Best friends foreva'

And sometime in the long run our paths go separate ways

And we may be really sad and gray

But it's all gonna be okay

Because we're best friends, so we'll meet again someday
