It was a fine sunny day in Rio, and Linda was relaxing with the laptop on her desk. She was surfing the net for a good restaurant where she could have a nice dinner with Tulio. She was planning on going tonight.
She did a Google search for 'Rio restaurants' and about 76,100,000 results came up in 0.19 seconds.
"Gee, that's fast," she thought.
She scrolled down and had a look at some of the sites.
"There are not many good restaurants here," Linda said, disappointedly.
Just when she was about to try a different search engine, a particular website caught her attention.
"Ooh, what's this?" she exclaimed. The website was the Rio archive of fanfiction. "It's a website about me and Blu!" Linda said excitedly.
Inside the webpage there were lots of blue links. Linda immediately realised they were stories! Stories about her and Blu.
"What is this," she said anxiously. "People have been writing about us!"
Linda turned around and examined the room to see if anyone was spying on her. She released a sigh of relief.
Linda turned back to the computer screen and looked at the first story. It was Jungle Faith » by Corration.
"Sounds interesting." She clicked on the link and opened up the story.
Suddenly there was a bang from outside the room. Linda heard a scream then a shout. Tulio opened the door and rushed in, his face black with soot.
"Is everything ok?" Linda asked with a look of worry on her face.
"Yes," replied Tulio, panting. "I'm just doing a little experimenting."
"I hope it's not on one of the birds," said Linda.
He exited and she put a hand on the keyboard of the computer to steady herself.
"Tulio and his experiments" Linda shook her head with disapproval.
She turned back to the computer screen, and she realised she had forgotten all about the stories! She had accidentally pressed the backspace button, and it had taken her to the previous page. Just when she was about to go back into 'Jungle Faith' another story caught her eye. It was number 2 and was entitled The Volcano » by Luigi of the Bakery.
"I never knew there was a volcano in Rio," she said.
Linda opened up The Volcano and started to read.
It was a nice sunny day in Rio, and everyone was packing up and cleaning after the Carnival. Blu was nestled it the Blu Bird Sanctuary, and after such an eventful night, he was too tired to get up even though Rafael was shouting in his ear...
"This is an awesome story!" she said after finishing the first chapter.
"The author of this story is so good at writing I can hardly believe my eyes when I see the text!" Linda continued. The author's name was Luigi of the Bakery and Linda went to his profile.
In Luigi of the Bakery's profile there was a poem. The poem was called Luigi of the Bakery: The Poem. Linda read it and was utterly amazed. There was also another story, called Fake world that was in the Mario category.
There was also a poll where you could vote for your favourite Mario character and mushroom.
"Please go to Luigi of the Bakery's profile and vote!" Linda said. "Your two votes are appreciated a lot. Yes, that's right, you can vote twice!
And that's exactly what she did.
