last notes fading away into the laughing moon
Her blind fingers felt the piano keys
hum with pleasure underneath,
felt the moon smiling down after,
felt the lyrics hum
on her lips…
She spread her fingers, parted her lips
and felt the two tunes mix
and dance in the moon's light
And her fingers danced as well
with the piano keys
until the last notes faded away
into the laughing moon.
