This is only a teaser for an idea I've had, and I'm not even sure if I will continue. (I probably will; This is fun!) Anyway, all I need to do, is work up the courage to write up a continuation, enjoy my shabby start!
An annoying beeping could be heard next to the now awake teenaged boy's head. mumbling a clearly annoyed "God damn it," he switched it off and got on with his morning routine. After he had finished washing up and preparing for school, he checked the time on his phone, it read "6:45" to which the boy responded "hmm, New record." Sitting down on the rather small couch in his living room, he unlocked his phone and proceeded to check the news. alongside the usual headlines of events in the city, and the obligatory "Faith restored in humanity" story, the boy noticed nothing unusual. He continued scrolling down the news station's website until an unusual story caught his attention, it read "New Species Discovered in Local Animal Sanctuary." The boy raised an eyebrow, stating to himself, "Really? I wonder how long this is gonna last!" He clicked the link, and found that it was a video of a broadcast from the previous night. The female announcer droned on, in a voice that could only be described as bored. "A few days ago, a new species was discovered in Berlington federal park. This species is described as a small fox, sporting a small white mane, and a otherwise brown body…" The boy snapped his eyes to the time that was being displayed at the top of his phone, it now read "7:00" the boy panicked slightly, thinking "I'm gonna miss the bus!" as he threw on his sweater, and sprinted out the door.
(just another note) I have no clue where I'm gonna take this, but, I'm most likely going to work in a transformation somewhere, and maybe a bit of violence (yay!). Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, I'm always bored, so I'll probably get back to you.
