The Snow Garden

Snow fell around the garden. The garden which has been untouched for over 10 years. Whisper quiet this garden. It had been for every single day of those 10 years. Every hour. Every minute. Every...Second.

No one walks through this garden. People did 10 years ago...Yet, they stopped going through it. You could say nature was in charge of this garden. This garden stays behind an amusement park...Hidden away.

What would make this garden any different from say your own garden would be one fact: Peace.

Odd when one says they want peace yet they don't know what the word really means. Peace to them is more along the lines of being polite to one another. Not natural...No requirement peace.

I feel safe here. My job has always to be here. Always be in this garden and this garden alone.

Yes I did meet various people.

Yes I have seen various events...But that isn't the point now is it?

Water.

Water that had been frozen over still lay there. Untouched. Some would say that this garden is now untouched...Possibly for eternity.

I'm not so sure about that.

As the Sun rose over this garden again. It looks perfect. Every single branch. Every single flower frozen in time. Time...Now there's a concept.

A concept that doesn't effect this garden.

I have been here for as long as the garden first had a flower planted. No, I am not the planet...That isn't me, yet, I simple when I see nature blowing back and forth. The Sun melts the snow (normally) bringing with it new fresh flowers another with a new Spring.

Spring...

I feel my heart beat slow down to almost match the tranqulity of the garden.

This is the kind of peace I can imagine the whole planet had at one point.

That one point...

I hope it happens again.

I am standing next to a big tree.

Beautiful. I look up and smile. Closing my eyes as I do so. The air feels warm...Not really cold. I suppose it is cold to a lot of people...Not me...Not today at least.

The wind lifts my hair up gently and lets it down gently as well.

I lower my head and open my eyes. Taking in deep breath after deep breath and exhaling each time.

Compared to the tree, I stand a little ways underneath its namesake plague. My hair is auburn...Nice when you mix it with the garden I am stood in.

I found this garden. Many years after my mother told me about it.

My cheshire brown eyes with a hidden glint scan the garden as I turn to leave.

This garden will always be my special garden.

No-one else knows about it...Besides my mother of course.

My name isn't really hard to guess.

An (Peace in Chinese) Hibiki (Shining brilliance) Li.

Maybe one day I will tell my sister about the garden to...

Thanks for showing me my Snow Garden mother. I won't ever forget it.

My mother? Of course! Why didn't you ask?

Sakura Li.
