It was a nice warm and sunshiny day. "Hey mom!" Trunks said.
"Yes son? What do you need?" Bulma replied. "I want a new video game that just came out. But dad is being an old grouch. Errr." Trunks said.
"Well that is mostly up to your father." Bulma said in a sigh. "Yea whatever. Forget I asked." Trunks murmered.
Trunks went up to his bedroom and just stared at his old video games in disgrace. All the other kids had the new one he thought.
Even goten has it. It was pitiful to trunks to not have something goten had. "I hate my mom and dad. They are the worst." Trunks said.
Vegeta banged hardly on his door just trying to knock. "Son open this door!" Vegeta said.
Trunks ran to his door and realized it was stuck. He said to his dad, "Dad, this door is locked!".
Vegeta was trying to break it open. But trunks didn't want to lose his door so he yelled to his dad, "DAD STOP IT!! MOM WOULD BE FURIOUS!"
Vegeta realized he was right. So he ran away hoping he wouldn't get in trouble with Bulma.
Trunks could blow the door away but he would be in so much trouble. He would never get that video game.
Well an hour went by and all trunks was doing was sitting on his bed. He finally got bored and decided to play a video game. One of his old ones.
Meanwhile downstairs his parents were waiting for the locksmith. They were sipping a cup of tea.
Well trunks after a while soon got bored of video games and decided to look in his closet. He saw his teddy weddy bear.
That was his favorite. His mom made it for him when he was only two years old.
Tears came to his eyes as he thought of how much he loved it. When he was sad he would give it a great big hug and would feel all better again.
He searched more in his closet and he was still holding onto the bear. He found some of his old stuff and he loved seeing them again.
He thought to himself. "What am I doing?!? I do have what I want. I have the best parents in the world!"
Finally after about another hour the locksmith finally came. As he walked upstairs they heard trunks talking to someone,something or himself.
Trunks had heard them but it was too late to get out of closet now. He was all the way in!
The locksmith got the door and it opened with a creak. As they turned to trunks closet they saw a mess of trunks old things.
And underneath it all was trunks. So Bulma said, "What are you doing over there. This is a mess. Oh and by the way your father said you could have that video game."
And trunks jumped out of the mess and ran to his parents and gave them big hugs. He said, "Mom I don't need that game. I have you guys. The greatest parents ever."
So trunks did end up getting the game for his birthday he still knew he didn't need it. All he needed was two great parents!
