Day # 5 Cards

It had been a long time since Evanna had lived at the Institute or Pietro at the run down home the Brotherhood had lived in. They had found a small apartment with enough space for them to feel like they weren't on top of one another constantly and had tried to fade into obscurity, but Evanna was still an X-men at heart, and Pietro had come a long way with in his rehabilitation from being a bad boy. Evanna wasn't sure she would have ever called him a villain, not with some of the thins she had seen people do in this world.

She had turned 35 that year, and she and Pietro were getting around to talk of a wedding, nothing big something small and intimate. They both kept in touch with most of the people from their former lives, which is what brought them to the current situation as they tried to figure out who they would and wouldn't be sending Christmas cards to.

"Pietro, I'm sending a card to Callisto and the others. I owe them so much," Evanna said as she sealed the letter, scrawling the address across and putting it in the send pile.

"Alright fine, but do we HAVE to send one to Wanda? She still hates me," Pietro insisted as she looked at the card Evanna had picked for his sister.

"Pietro, you're family and it's Christmas. At least send her an 'I'm thinking of you' card," Evanna insisted as she once again pushed a pen into his hand.

She had been trying to pin Pietro down for ages to get the holiday cards done with so they could be done with it, and move on to more fun things. Pietro made a face at her as he wrote a short message to his sister, his expression a bit conflicted and he erased a lot as he tried to find the right words. Evanna didn't offer assistance as she finished with the other cards. With any luck the holiday bug would bite Pietro and he would cheer right up.
