Joy Luck Club Poem

Stories and memories shared

During a traditional chinese game of mahjong

Each mahjong player generations old

Sharing tales of the past and memories gone by

Listening to the stories of the past you start to understand

All the hardships the ups and downs

And how each of the four women came to be
