On a usual warm sunny day, Kagamine Rin would walk around with her friend Kagamine Len. (No, there were not related. Why would you think that? You say because of their last name? That's no reason.) However, today Rin wasn't walking around with him, instead she was hiding from him. He didn't do anything, and they weren't playing hide and seek. She was just...hiding. Mostly because she ran away. Rin hoped he wouldn't find her. She had a lot of things in her mind.
"Rin?" A voice called. "Why are you here?" A boy with blonde hair tied up in a small ponytail asked. Len.
Shoot, Rin thought. He found me...maybe I shouldn't tell him all my hiding spots.
"H-h-hello, Len..."
"Rin, are you ok?"
She nodded.
"Are you sure?"
She nodded.
"Do you wanna get some ice cream?"
She nodded.
"Ok, lets go!" Len grabbed her wrist and he pulled her toward the towns local ice cream shop.
"I didn't expect you to run away..." Len said after he bought their ice cream.
"Huh?" Rin answered. Len chuckled.
"A little while ago... I thought you hated me."
"Wha-!" Rin flushed. That's because... It was so sudden and my mind went blank..." Rin paused. Len stared at her with a look that said 'Continue on'.
"I didn't even think that I'd be chased, you scared me you know!" She yelled.
"S-sorry..." Len said. (Hey, the guy was desperate.)
"But..." Rin said. That caught Len's attention.
"When I lose sight of you, I feel uneasy. I wanted to chase you and be with you." Rin said quietly, while blushing.
Len eyes widened, and a blush also covered his face. "Eh...?"
The two stood in silence, both blushing like crazy. Then, Len looked up and gave a determined face.
I can do this! He thought.
Rin's eyes widened at what Len just did. She slowly looked at him, but he wasn't facing her. She stared for a while, then smile at him. She went back to happily eating her ice cream. Len was still blushing.
They both walked home hand in hand together. Smiling.
