#77 "I'll come back when you call me. No need to say goodbye."

As she stared at the camp slowly fading from her view, Caitlyn let out a long sigh. This was always the hardest part. Leaving. Not knowing who will come back next year, or if you'll ever see them again.

This year was the hardest, though. She was seventeen, would soon be eighteen, and she was no longer allowed to attend her favorite place in the world.

It was horrible to leave, but Caitlyn knew that as soon as she was out of high school, she would go right back into the speediness and unpredictably of music. It was nice to know that her future was set in stone. But the next seven months until an internship would be pure torture.

But as long as she had some kind of instrument, her computer, or even just her voice, she'd be fine. She'd wait for the music to call her and when it did, she'd be ready.

As Caitlyn was brought back to the noisy bus, with all her comrades drumming, singing, and talking all around her, she heard a beat running through it that she hadn't explored before.

Caitlyn smiled. The music was calling, ringing a unique tune inside her mind that wove through her very being, defining her passion in life.

She answered.

P.S. I know that this prompt's been used twice, but I started this one before then. And lol, it's not even really a pairing anyways.
