An 8 year old Sherlock sat in the school office with a bloody nose and split lip. Mycroft came in and shook his head.

"What did you do, Sherlock?" He asked.

"I got in a fight." Sherlock said.

"Why?"

"Because this kid was talking about how his mother had taken his dog to a farmland where he could run free. I told him that it was obvious his mother was lying because she clearly backed over the dog and killed it." Sherlock explained.

"And how would you know that?" Mycroft asked.

"There were spots of blood and dog fur on the tires, and his mother looked guilty when she dropped him off. When I enlightened him of this, he punched me."

"People don't want to hear those things, and sometimes it's for the best they don't. If you don't keep your mouth shut, you will never have a job." Mycroft said.

Sherlock, the consulting detective, proved his brother wrong. Again.
