"I still don't quite understand your fondness of him. I mean, he kidnaps you, holds you hostage and away from your mother and here your smiling happily while you stay with him every six months in a mortal year."
Her cousin, Aphrodite, lounged on her dais like she owned it the second she stepped into Persephone's home. Shrugging, she went back to picking at her grapes that sat on a plate in her lap. "I'm a little confused by it myself in all honesty. There is just something about him that...attracts me."
Snorting ungoddess like, Aph, rolled her eyes. "Why yes, it's called he's brainwashed you."
It was Seph's turn to roll her eyes. "Oh please. Do you think me so easily swayed, cousin? I'm not a child, nor am I naive. I know exactly what stands before me every day and night." An eyebrow went up when a huge smirk graced her lips. "And I happen to like what I see."
Suddenly interested by topic, Aphrodite hopped up from her seat. "Oh, some fire sparking in the bedroom I see?"
"You see nothing." Seph pinched a grape between her fingers before tossing it into her mouth. "As I do believe it is none of your business."
Her cousin scoffed. "None of my business? Honey, I'm the goddess of love and lust. Everything dealing with the bedroom, inside and out is my realm of work."
"True," the young goddess smirked, "but I also know a certain husband of mine that would mind your nose in our business. And if you don't mind, I actually like keeping all the juicy details to myself thank you."
"Stingy." Aphrodite play cried and crossed her arms before vanishing, probably back to Olympus while Persephone sighed.
It was one thing for her to peep into affairs of the mortals, quite another when those peepers pepped her husband.
"Guess I am greedy." She laughed at herself before venturing off to find said man.
