Rick was talking with Michonne as Carl was sleeping in the back seat of the car they had been walking all day

"So this terminus must be pretty well run?" Asked Michonne. There was cracking in back ground

"Yes will explain what we are" Said Rick till people came out of the woods.

"You screwed up you hear me!"

"You screwed up!" Said the man.

"So here i was going to turn;in on New Year's Eve who wont's to count down the ball with me hu ten Mississippi, nine Mississippi" Said the man.

"Joe" As Daryl came out from behind them.

"Okay, Daryl you stopped me at eight so say your peace" Said Joe.

"Look your going to let these people go yer they are-good people" Said Daryl.

"Now, you say there are good people our friend Lou died because of your friend here he left him to turn in the bathroom" Said Joe.

"I get it you wont blood take it from me" Said Daryl.

"Now you say these are good people it's a lie.. It's a lie" a couple of Joe's men grabbed Daryl and started betting him.

"No let him go you hear it's was on it was all on me" Said Rick. Daryl was like a brother to him. Seeing getting attacked by

"Your right it was on you see what we are going to do, we going to beat Daryl to death, then boy and then we have the girl and shot you and then we be all square" he kept seeing Daryl being beat he was slammed against the car; he saw Carl benign pined by some creepy guy.

"Let him go!" Rick was getting disparate to save his brother and his son and Michonne.

Rick flew his head back and Joe's gun went off in his hand. Rick hit Joe in the face.

"It's okay i got this!" He said he kicked Rick in stomach.

"Come on sport what have you got for me" Rick bit into Joe's neck as blood came rushing out. The group stopped. Michonne killed her attacker then she killed Daryl's he kicked one of the guys skulls in.

"I kill him!" Said one of the Carls attacker.

"Let the boy go" Said Michonne. She pointed the gun at him.

Rick got Joe's knife he looked at the man who was attacking his son.

"He's mine!" Said Rick. He stabbed the attacker and killed him gutting him. Michonne just embraced Carl.

After that got rid of the claimers body's. Daryl said nothing Rick just looked at Carl;Michonne held him still.

"We should get some rest head to Terminus in the morning" Said Rick.

Daryl offered Rick a rag. To wipe the blood from his face; he was weak tired from the ordeal but he was different man from last night the two brothers sat next to one another.

"So how did you wind up with them?" Asked Rick. Daryl's face went all sad.

"I was with Beth, we got out with her we where together for a while" Said Daryl. Rick feared the worst.

"Is she dead?" asked Rick. Looking at Daryl's face he saw pain and guilt.

"Nar, she's just gone i went for her followed a black car but the trail went cold; that's how i lost her then Joe Recruited me the said they where after some guy...i didn't no what they could do; it was a code a simple one but stupid" Said Daryl.

"Hay Daryl it weren't on you okay it weren't on you your my brother" Said Rick.

Daryl looked at Rick he saw him as a brother more than Merle was he died trying to kill the Governor and he let him but he got himself a new family Hershel's death was a big blow for him then he was Beth lost her Maggie Glenn Lori Andrea T-dog they where his family Carol he didn't believe she killed Karen and David. But he was hoping that some of his family was still alive and Terminus.

Now he has a brother he was going to protect him and Carl till the day he dies
