Elliot picked up the phone slowly. He yawned and then said "Stabler" rubbing his eyes. There was silence for a moment and then someone sniffled on the other line. "Elliot" a woman voice said softly. "Liv sweetie? Is that you? Where are you?" He said nervously.

He called her on the road
From a lonely cold hotel room
Just to hear her say I love you one more time
And when he heard the sound
Of the kids laughing in the background
He had to wipe away a tear from his eye
A little voice came on the phone
And said "Daddy when you coming home"
He said the first thing that came to his mind

"I'm home Elliot" she said looking up at his big house and wiping a tear from her cheek.

"Where are you Liv? I'll come and get you" he said going over to the closet to get his jacket. "I'm here Elliot" she said kind of chuckling to herself. "I missed you Olivia. I love you so much."

She got back on the phone

"I'm home Elliot" she said again this time with a smile. He walked out of his bedroom and down the stairs. He reached for the front door and slowly turned the knob. He opened the door and looked out.

He rushed over to her, picked her up and swung her around. Then slowly he lowered her and when their faces were parallel he kissed her softly on the lips.

A tear rolled down Olivia's face and Elliot wiped it away. "I love you too Elliot" she said smiling and looking directly into those big blue eyes of his.
