Chapter 1
It was a bright, sunny day in July as young Tohru Honda was doing the laundry and hanging the sheets out to dry by sun. By noon it was getting way too hot so she decided to make lunch for her and Shigure. Kyo and Yuki were at a karate convention two hours away and wouldn't be back till two days from now. Tohru made some cold lemonade and sandwiches. She set everything out on a table outside so the two could enjoy the nice weather.
Shigure: You outdid yourself again my little housewife! Everything is perfect!
Tohru: Thank you Shigure! blushes a bit I'm glad the weather is nice enough to sit out here with you instead of in that quiet empty house. The sun is so beautiful! Don't you think so Shigure?
Shigure: Yes it is. But I know something more beautiful! leans over and kisses Tohru on the cheek
Tohru blushed a pinkish color as she continued eating. The two lovers started going out a bit after the cat and rat left. Tohru felt a bit lonely not having the two teenagers to hang out with. Shigure wanted to comfort her, but one thing led to another and he and his little flower and he kissed her which she actually didn't mind as she said with her usual goofy grin. Then both confessed their feelings after one year of living together. He thought Tohru wanted someone her age to date. He was ten years older than her for god sake. But she didn't care about age. They did want to keep their relationship a secret though. What would happen if Kyo and Yuki found out? He would be beaten to death. But worse was what if Akito found out? He shook the thought from his head and spent the rest of lunch with his love. Afterwards cuddled together watching the clouds go by.
Tohru: The boys come home in two days. I hope they won't be upset that we're together.
Shigure: They won't find out. Neither of the Sohmas will. I don't want to get you or myself in trouble.
Tohru was surprised Shigure wasn't in his joking mood like always. She just smiled like always as she agreed to what Shigure said. After that speech the couple carried everything inside and Tohru did the dishes and finished the laundry.
Shigure: My little flower, I hate always seeing you working. Let's go out and do something fun!
Tohru: Like what?
Shigure: Let's take a walk into town. We'll find something.
Tohru smiled happily as she took Shigure's arm and they walked in town. They window shopped for a little bit, got ice cream, and even took some goofy pictures in the photo booth. It was late when they reached the house. It surprised them both and scared them a little to see the lights on. They swore they were off and the doors and windows were locked before they left. When they opened the door what they saw inside was something they didn't expect! They both gasped at the sight.
