Remember the Warrior in Rock Village from the first game? Well, I always thought that he was the funniest of the minor characters in the game, with his overly dramatic attitude, so I wanted to write something from his point of view. Just his little recollections of his attempt and failure to defeat Klaww. Complete with many exclamation points. Please read and review. Woes of the Warrior

So you wanna know how I got like this, huh? How my armor got dented and rusted? Well, the real question you should be asking is how my sprit got shattered like a delicate plate tossed at a wall!

But, it's none of your business. That's right. I want none of your pity. You know what. Fine. I'll tell you.

They called me the Warrior. I was the only one of Rock Village. It all started when I was a surprisingly muscular, overly dramatic child. Too far back, you say? Well, it's my story. My sense of justice and my valiant spirit knew no bounds. My soul was like a mighty eagle soaring through the clouds! I took it upon myself to protect the people of Rock Village. I trained. I wrestled with bears and out-swam Lurker Sharks. I lifted A-GraV Zoomers over my head and helped old ladies carry their groceries. Rock Village was a safer place, and it was thanks to me.

Until that monster came, over the hill. Up there! It started tossing flaming boulders at the village, of all things! My pure heart and my righteous spirit wouldn't stand for it! So I did the only thing I could do! I climbed up the treacherous mountain…by way of the footpath…and I faced the mighty beast on its own ground!

It was far more vicious a creature than I had yet faced. I stood before it, my armor with the same brilliant sheen as the justice I defended! I looked it in the eyes and readied myself, fists clenched like two hammers ready to unleash pain! …And then…before I knew it, it picked me up by the feet. I hung helplessly upside down, and it shook me about and punched my armor into the sorry state you see now….

Give me a moment…

And then, the beast tossed me, and I tumbled…back down the…I'm sorry…this is…hard for me… My mad descent ended at the bottom of the mountain. My armor as dented as my pride. I had failed. It was over. I was no longer the valiant warrior of yesteryear. It was pointless. I vowed that day I would never fight again. I wasn't fit to defend Rock Village.

And now, here before you is what's left of that brave warrior. Sad, isn't it? Just…leave me in peace. I have nothing more to say to you. I need…to be alone.
