A Shocking Surprise
Dan's POV
I was sitting with my friends at our usual lunch table talking about the day so far while I was daydreaming about my girlfriend, Runo Misaki, who lives in Wardington, Japan and I had not seen her in two years. I did not even recognized her when she came over to our table with her lunch box in hand after the other kids (but not two girls with long black hair) turned her away because she had a temper on her.
"May I sit with you guys, please?" She asked us kindly and I wondered why the new girl wanted to sit with us because we were usually by ourselves there. Everyone else told her yes and waited for me to answer her question.
"Yes, you sit here, my dear." I tell her calmly because I was usually watching to make sure to no one bothered us. She sat down, opened her lunch box, pulled out a stalk of celery and some baby with Ranch Dressing, and started to eat it.
"Thank you, Dan." She tells me sweetly and look at her with shock on my face. "Did I say something wrong, Dan?' She asked me wondering why I was shocked to say the very least.
"How do you know my name, Miss." I asked her because this was not making any sense to me right then.
"I know your name because we grew up together up until two years ago, Dan." She told me while giggling a little bit at me for not remembering her. Everyone else had already said hey to her and went back to eating their lunch.
"Runo, is it really you?" I asked her since I could not believe that it was her.
"Yes, it is me, Dan." She tells me calmly and coolly.
"It is good to see you again, Runo." I tell her calmly and go back to eating my lunch.
