A/N This is a drabblish poem expressing Hanabi's feelings towards being sealed once Hinata marries and is able to continue the main family line. She is very proud and arrogant, and I am assuming that she is much stronger than Hinata. I am giving her the potential to rival Neji in power, so if she was sealed and labeled as a branch member, I think she would become very indignant and fight for her freedom. Usually they second and third born are sealed at a young age but she wasn't for some reason…. So she would be more used to life as a main family member and so would rebel more than say Neji, because he was born a branch member.
Does that make any sense, or am I rambling? Well, if you have any questions, critiques, comments, flames even (though they are sad….) please REVIEW! ...Hmm, fanfiction wont' let me put spaces inbetween the spaces... oh well, enjoy!
(also, every time Hanabi says She or her, she is referring to Hinata)
Perfection
(Hanabi's POV)
What I strive to be I can't obtain
That perfection, untouchable and high
The pressure beats down upon my back
And beats me into living the perfect lie
You are Hyuuga, elite and superior
That is what they say
They who then mold and shape me
To bear that seal one day
She, weakest of the clan and yet heir,
I will soon surpass
But even then, I, the genius, the strong
Am demeaned to be Branch!
I, richest in strength
She will be given to command
She'll be the cage of this bird
Who yearns to fly the land
But one must be a leader
Strong in mind and prepared to kill
To take such raw power
And bend in to a single will
I am a main family member
And plan to stay one 'till I die
Such a mistake was made
When she began her own lie
For the younger is the stronger
And for her to fit the role
She must cage and seal my strength
The strength that she stole
I'll not give up my life
To those inferior to my power
Better you had chained me in my ignorance
At that early hour
I am too used to freedom to hand it over now
(Granted you can take it by force)
But in time I will be the strongest of Hyuuga
And destroy this injustice at its source
It is perfection I must obtain
As smooth as a pearl morn'
I must melt down this blooming flower
And in its place grow a bush of thorns
DON'T FORGET TO REVIEW!
