The Leak
In the deepest, darkest, and smelliest sewers of New Mobotropilis, there lay a bottle. In that bottle was a liquid with the remains of a bird toon. And it managed to leak into New Mobotropilis' water system. This is story of how it affected a hedgehog and his friends life's forever.
A young Mobian woodpecker was staring out of his window as he watched Sonic run through the streets of New Mobotropilis. "Imagine being able to run like that...," he wondered. "Oh, well." He went to fill up a glass of water and turned the handle. He put it to his beak and spat it out immediately. "What the heck was that!?" Sudden he clutch his stomach as he dropped his glass. "Ohhhh..." He stumbled and raised his hand to his face. His hand now had three fingers, excluding the thumb. His fingers were more round and ovaly. Oddly enough his fourth finger just seemed to disappear. At the top of his lungs, he screamed.
Meanwhile, Sonic was in hearing range of the roadrunner's scream. "I bet it's Eggman," Sonic said to himself. He zoomed to the house where the scream came from. He rushed in to see a woodpecker with two balloney hands. "Whoa... what the heck happened to you?"
"I..I..I..," the Mobian stammered. Suddenly, his feet soon began to inflate and shrink, his beak grew longer, his eyes became more cartoony, his neck grew a little bit, his feathers on his body turned blue, his head and neck feathers turned red, and finally, with a pop, he was rendered unconscious. Sonic stared in silence.
'What just happened?"
