It's just an average day. You're idly sitting by the windowsill in your bedroom, reading your favourite book. For some reason you can't seem to concentrate. You put your hair behind your ear and go downstairs. You go to the kitchen and make tea. Over the noise of the kettle boiling you hear a familiar sound. No... it can't be. You drop the spoon with a clatter and run outside. You see him. In a suit and converse. A mad-man with a box.
"DOCTOR!"You scream. You run out of the house despite you are only wearing your slippers. You leave the door flung wide open. "DOCTOOOOOOOR!"You scream again. He's about to enter the TARDIS. "DOCTOR! NO! WAIT! PLEASE"He closes the TARDIS door. You know it's too late. You collapse on the pavement, sobbing.
You hear another voice coming from behind you. A man's voice "DOCTOR!"He also screams "DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE ME AGAIN!"You look round. It's Captain Jack Harness. You can't believe your eyes. Before you can even open your mouth to speak he yanks you up off the ground. "Come on!" he shouts as he takes your hand and makes you run with him.
Unsurprisingly, your first thought is "OH MY GOD JACK HARNESS IS HOLDING MY HAND." Then, as you realise what's happeneing, you manage to splutter out "Capitan! What are we doing?!" He looks and you, and with a wink, he says "Well dollface, we're going to hitch a ride"
