It's a miracle! I'm writing a fan fiction that isn't TMNT. Well, anyway, I always wondered just how *spoilers* Turbo got into Sugar Rush and changed his own code in the first place. *spoilers over*I don't know much about arcade games, or really video games in general, but this wouldn't leave me alone until I wrote it. Enjoy.
Turbo watched the world of RoadBlasters crumble as the plug was pulled. He knew that if he stayed here much longer, he would cease to be along with the rest of this hated game. He considered jumping back into his own game, where he could possibly salvage his damaged fame, but could see through the screen of RoadBlasters that his game was being unplugged as well. Guess it didn't play too well without its main racer. His only choice was to jump ship, and go into some other game. Abandoning his kart, he ran to where Roadblasters had once been connected to Game Central Station, but now there was only the narrowest bridge of connection by the one (prong) still connected. It'd be risky, and he probably wouldn't make it, but if he jumped now he might just make it out. He braced himself, took a few steps back and with a running start jumped towards the narrow bridge. He flew through the air and landed, with his hands just inside the station for what was once Roadblasters. Pulling himself in, Turbo gave a sigh of relief at making it, then allowed for anger to take over. That stupid Roadblasters, first it ruins his popularity, then it almost kills him. Yeah, maybe he had tried to take it over, but the Greatest Racer Ever deserved the attention it was getting. He deserved to be the most popular game in this arcade.
He walked into Game Central Station, cursing Roadblasters as he went. The station was empty since it was day time, and everyone else in the arcade was at work in their own games. Eventually he found himself not only cursing the game, but the gamers as well. How could they have stopped wanting to play him? He was the Greatest Racer Ever, after all. He even had a catch-phrase! Did Roadblasters have a character with an amazing catch-phrase? No, it didn't!
After a while of aimlessly walking, Turbo decided that he would get it all back. He didn't know how, but he knew that he would win races again. He would get his popularity back. All he needed to do was find another racing game, one that he could make his own. And this time he wouldn't rush in so rashly, no, he would learn from his mistakes. And then, well, then his life would be back on track to being Turbo-tastic once again. He smiled to himself, than hid in Game Central Station (the rest of the arcade had heard about his plot, and weren't happy with him. Anyway, his plan would work better if everyone though he was gone.) and waited for the perfect opportunity.
So there it is. I hope you liked this, like I said in the first author's note, this isn't what I usually write.
